Description

The company is hiring a Senior Solution Architect to design business-driven, standards-based and future-ready solutions across a complex, multiple-solution or product setting.

You will shape solutions that meet product needs, business priorities and enterprise standards, while owning non-functional requirements (NFR) and fitness functions.

You will guide others through hard problems, keep the vision and roadmap for several solutions in view, give technical oversight to product teams, and assess new technologies to improve existing solutions and reduce technical debt.

Responsibilities

  • Design solutions that fit product requirements, business priorities and enterprise standards.
  • Own NFRs and fitness functions.
  • Document the architecture and evolve it across the product life cycle, working with the architecture community on governance. Apply frameworks in complex or multi-solution product contexts.
  • Maintain the vision, roadmap and current landscape for multiple solutions. Assess how initiatives affect capabilities, risk, the application landscape and their dependencies.
  • Create conceptual and logical data models, taxonomies, ontologies and integration pathways for the product.
  • Define and drive reference architectures, patterns, NFRs and fitness functions. Make sure Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) are recorded and published for one or more solutions or the product.
  • Track external technology trends, assess feasibility and run vendor assessments.
  • Explain difficult concepts clearly, negotiate with stakeholders who see things differently, and share information across the whole product.
  • Maintain the product's technology roadmap. Advise product teams on specific technologies, improve existing solutions, manage technical debt, and research, pilot and drive adoption of emerging technologies such as generative AI agents and Data Cloud harmonization. Find ways to add value and improve business processes.
  • Work at expert level across several technology areas. Help build architecture practices and mentor others.
  • Guide the design of Salesforce solutions for customer and patient support, covering Life Sciences Cloud, Service Cloud and Health Cloud: patient and customer engagement, care plans, case management and healthcare data models.
  • Unify patient and customer data with Data Cloud, harmonize real-time data streams and turn them into actionable insights across touchpoints.
  • Design and run AI-driven workflows with Agentforce, including autonomous agents, automated routing and augmented agent workflows.
  • Manage complex integrations, including Salesforce-Genesys CTI adapters: real-time screen pops, call logging, voice and omnichannel routing, and two-way data sync.
  • Apply a solid understanding of HIPAA (and/or GDPR, depending on geography) to data storage, encryption and transmission in patient and customer support environments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing business-driven, standards-based, future-ready solutions in a complex or multi-solution product context.
  • Experience keeping the vision, roadmap and landscape for multiple solutions, and assessing how initiatives affect capabilities, risk and applications.
  • A track record of architecting Salesforce solutions that support customer and patient experience ecosystems.
  • A track record of contributing to architecture practices and mentoring others.
  • Expert-level knowledge across several technology areas, especially Salesforce Service Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, Data Cloud and Agentforce.
  • Hands-on skill in building conceptual and logical data models, taxonomies, ontologies and integration pathways for enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to define and drive reference architectures, design patterns, NFRs and fitness functions across enterprise landscapes.
  • Strong ability to track external technology trends, pilot new platforms, assess feasibility and run vendor assessments for multiple solutions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. You can explain hard ideas and bring stakeholders around to new views.
  • A proactive approach to finding value, improving solutions, managing technical debt and leading teams toward new solutions.
