Description

The company is a world-leading industrial gases business founded in 1940. Its Rotoflow unit combines turbomachinery expertise with industrial gas capabilities for hydrocarbon, liquefied natural gas, petrochemical, and industrial gas customers.

The role is a Project Manager position based at the Rotoflow headquarters and manufacturing site in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Most of the work supports Aftermarket projects, with some New Equipment projects added when the business needs them.

You will run global projects from order award to closeout and act as the main customer contact. Success means meeting customer requirements, contract terms, budget targets, and schedule dates while coordinating across the business.

After an order is awarded, you are the main point of contact for internal and external customers. The role gives you wide global project exposure, frequent cross-functional work, and room to grow in project management and elsewhere in the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of global Aftermarket projects, plus selected New Equipment projects, from order award to closeout so they finish on time and within budget.
  • Act as the primary customer contact throughout execution, keeping requirements, deliverables, schedule, and commercial terms clear and aligned.
  • Set up, run, track, and close out projects in SAP.
  • Prepare the paperwork needed for invoicing and for domestic and international shipments.
  • Handle customer documents and contractual deliverables across the full project lifecycle.
  • Apply company standards, systems, and best practices to keep project delivery efficient and effective.
  • Coordinate work across mechanical design, aero, controls, production, planning, scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, finance, and logistics.
  • Balance several concurrent projects of different sizes and complexity, and adjust as customer, project, and business needs change.
  • Uphold company guiding principles, putting safety first.

Requirements

  • Ability to take technical projects from start to finish while balancing customer, contract, budget, and schedule demands.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and prioritization across multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with proven customer-facing project leadership and the ability to coordinate across functions without direct authority.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work well in a fast-changing environment and reset priorities as needs shift.
  • Able to work independently and to support senior project staff when asked.
  • Experience using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is required. SAP experience is preferred but not required.
  • An associate's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Technical or engineering education or experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience running several projects at once while staying organized and detail-focused.
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish in manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineered-to-order, Aftermarket service, or engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) settings.
  • Experience with an ERP system such as SAP or a similar business system is preferred but not required.

Conditions

Hybrid schedule with four days per week in the Bethlehem office. You generally choose one remote day and keep it consistently, subject to business needs, which can change.

Travel is expected to stay under 10% and is usually planned ahead. Occasional travel to other company sites may be required.

The work is office-based engineering with periodic support for testing, commissioning, and operations.

Equal opportunity applies to all candidates.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay and benefits.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance available from your first day.
  • 401(k) plan with immediate vesting of the company match and core contributions.
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Adoption assistance.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts for medical and dependent daycare costs.
  • Health Savings Account.
  • Life insurance (AD&D) and supplemental AD&D.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
