Reverse Engineer 3

Description

The company needs experienced reverse engineers to examine malicious binaries, work out what they do, and identify indicators of compromise.

Malware reverse engineering experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical analysis of malicious binaries by running them in controlled environments, studying assembly code, or both.
• Get past techniques that malware uses to resist analysis.
• Determine what each sample does, what it is capable of, and where it calls back to.
• Help link samples to adversary infrastructure.
• Identify indicators of compromise.
• Produce information and documentation that supports malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Requirements

• An Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
• A Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• A Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• CISSP, GIAC GREM or CREA, or an Information Assurance certification may be required.

Conditions

An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

The pay range for this position is $129,000.00 to $159,000.00.

Pay depends on factors such as geographic location, federal contract labor category, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.
