Description

The company builds defense products on Coherent Distributed Networks (CDN), which help warfighters, commercial air operators, and border protection teams respond faster and handle shifting threats.

Founded in 2022, the company has raised $1 billion from investors including 8VC, Accel, and Valor Equity Partners. It is headquartered in Los Angeles and has offices in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, San Diego, and London.

You will report to the Recruiting Operations Manager and work day to day with recruiters and hiring teams as the team grows. The company has 450 employees across 5 global offices.

The role suits someone who wants hands-on exposure to a fast-moving, high-growth recruiting function and can make a real difference early on.

You will own the candidate and new hire experience from interview scheduling through onboarding, guiding people smoothly through each step of the process.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule interviews and handle the logistics around them, then complete onboarding tasks and help run new hire orientations.
  • Be the main point of contact for candidates, keeping them informed by phone, text, and email so their experience stays positive and clear.
  • Book travel and lodging, handle last-minute schedule changes, and run onsite interview days using scheduling software, flagging where those tools fall short.
  • Work with hiring teams to get interviewers to sessions, collect feedback, pass on next steps, and keep hiring managers updated on candidate status.
  • Organize onsite visits: schedule them, lead tours, set up conference rooms, confirm interviewers attend, and resolve last-minute changes.
  • Spot process and system bottlenecks and propose changes that make scheduling more efficient.
  • Build working relationships with hiring teams, Operations, and IT.
  • Take part in projects that support the recruiting function.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in an administrative role handling high-volume scheduling, ideally in a fast-paced setting.
  • A record of juggling several scheduling or customer requests at once, under time pressure.
  • A proven customer service approach that puts the candidate first throughout the process.
  • A process-minded approach with a drive to improve efficiency and organization.
  • Comfort connecting with many kinds of people, personalities, and values.
  • Ability to stay effective as the environment changes and priorities shift.
  • Willingness to work in person at the Los Angeles (Hawthorne) office 5 days per week.
  • Preferred: a bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred: experience with ATS applications, where Greenhouse experience is highly preferred.
  • Preferred: experience scheduling in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Slack.
  • Preferred: interest in tech recruiting, talent acquisition, or people operations as a career path.

Conditions

This is a 6-month contract, which may be extended or converted to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Full-time and onsite in Los Angeles (Hawthorne), California, 5 days per week.

The hourly range is $33.00 to $42.00, covering base pay only and excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

The range is an estimate. You are welcome to apply even if your pay expectations fall outside it, and the actual offer may vary based on experience, education or training, critical skills, and business considerations.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of premiums paid by the company.
  • 401k with a 50% company match on up to 6% of pay, plus FSA, HSA, life insurance, and more.
  • Free lunch every day, a "No meeting Fridays" policy, unlimited PTO, and a casual dress code.
  • Competitive base salary, generous pre-IPO stock option grants, relocation assistance, and annual bonuses coming soon.
