Description

The role is a QA Specialist position in which you help ensure the quality and reliability of software delivered to the company's clients.

You take part across the software development lifecycle, helping with test planning, test execution, defect handling and quality assurance work.

Depending on the project, the work follows either agile or traditional delivery, and you work with customers, developers, business analysts and other stakeholders toward successful releases.

The company reviews every application and contacts candidates within the following week if it sees a potential match. Assessing each application takes time, so responses may take a while.

  • Design, run and record manual software tests.

  • Log, analyse and track defects, keeping them traceable through the whole testing lifecycle.
  • Review test results and report clearly on software quality and whether a release is ready.
  • Write and maintain user-facing and testing documentation.
  • Discuss test requirements, test results and release planning with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Help improve testing processes, methods and quality standards over time.

Requirements

  • Experience in software quality assurance and testing, focused on manual testing, test automation or both.
  • A solid grasp of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
  • You work well on your own and responsibly, and you also contribute actively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in dynamic projects where priorities shift and you adapt.
  • Fluent written and spoken German is mandatory.
  • Good English for working in an international environment.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with, or understanding of, accessibility testing.
  • Experience with AI tools used for testing.
  • Experience testing applications in CI/CD environments.

  • Knowledge of API, integration or end-to-end testing.
  • ISTQB or another relevant testing certification.
