Description

The company is hiring a QA Automation Lead in Lithuania.

Tadas Vaskela, Head of Enterprise Delivery, is looking for someone who wants to influence where test automation goes next at the company.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a people management one. It suits someone who likes writing code, solving automation problems and shaping engineering habits across several teams.

You will set the technical direction for automation across Lithuania, make Playwright-based practices the norm, and work alongside teams on frameworks, reusable parts and automated tests.

You will help decide how automation is designed and built across the organisation, rather than only keeping an existing framework running.

The company has 15,000 colleagues across the Nordics and Baltics.

Current stack: Playwright, TypeScript, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD and Jira.

Questions about the role can go to Tadas Vaskela, Head of Enterprise Delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Set the company's test automation strategy, standards and governance, and keep improving them.
  • Drive the adoption of Playwright-based frameworks and reusable testing practices across teams.
  • Build proofs of concept, reusable components, framework improvements and automated test suites yourself.
  • Widen regression automation coverage and help teams pick the critical business journeys worth automating.
  • Help bring automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices.
  • Coach QA engineers and developers through code reviews, pair programming, troubleshooting and hands-on guidance.
  • Define and track automation and quality metrics, find bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Combine technical depth with leadership and coaching, comfortable both setting direction and solving technical problems hands-on.
  • Several years of hands-on experience designing and developing automated tests in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong practical skills in Playwright and modern automation frameworks.
  • Strong coding skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Experience testing web applications, APIs, integrations and complex business processes.
  • Ability to write maintainable automation code and act as the technical authority on automation decisions.
  • A proven record of building automation solutions, not only managing testing activities or teams.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of automation architecture, test design, maintainability and scalability.
  • Ability to influence and coach without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience building enterprise-wide automation platforms or frameworks.
  • Experience introducing automation practices across multiple teams or domains.
  • Knowledge of telecom, CRM, ERP, self-service or customer-facing digital platforms.
  • ISTQB certifications or similar quality-related qualifications.
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted testing, Agentic AI or other modern engineering productivity tools.
  • Experience working in Agile and SAFe environments.

Conditions

Monthly salary range of 4320-6480 EUR gross, which may vary depending on your skills and experience.

Applications are due by November 21, 2026, and the role may close earlier if the right candidate is found.

Selected candidates will be contacted by a Talent Acquisition Partner, and background and reference checks are part of the process.

The company recognises talent by professional skills and growth potential and does not discriminate by disability, gender, age, nationality, sexual orientation or social status.

Benefits

  • Annual performance bonuses on top of salary.
  • Additional health insurance and pension plans.
  • Workation: work from anywhere in the EU for up to 30 days per year.
  • Extra vacation days based on tenure, up to 5 additional days.
  • Discounts on the company's services, including free home internet.
  • Partner offers and discounts, such as spa, cafe and event deals.
  • Summer camps for employees' children through a kids club.
  • Company-supported sports activities such as yoga, basketball and running.
  • Internal training, leadership programmes and job shadowing to explore new roles.
