  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, logistics and site operations teams so their work stays aligned.
  • Track and report project performance, and step in with corrective action where needed to meet objectives.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change control, escalating and mitigating problems promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, internal stakeholders and third-party partners.
  • Keep project documentation complete, accurate, current and properly filed.
  • Produce accurate project reports and forecasts that meet business governance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and adopting best practice.
  • Support and mentor project team members to keep delivery standards consistent.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering complex Modular, skid-based, switchgear, busbar or power distribution projects.
  • Experience managing several concurrent, high-value projects and a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and financial judgement, including profitability, cost control and variation management.
  • Experience across engineering, manufacturing, factory delivery and site execution.
  • Ability to build relationships at every level, including senior customer stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Smartsheet for project management and reporting.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and reporting skills.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to perform well in fast-paced, pressured settings.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound decision-making, and the ability to work autonomously and take accountability.
  • Full clean driving licence and the right to work in the UK, with a passport and willingness to travel abroad.
  • Desirable: Project Management certification such as APMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent.
  • Desirable: Understanding of electrical principles and power distribution or generation systems.
