Description

The company is a Growth Invention firm that helps ambitious brands grow faster, combining technology and marketing with more than 4,000 specialists across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data.

You would join the Experience & Engineering team in Germany, which pairs technology with experience design to build conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns that change how people see and use brands.

As a Technical Program Manager, you own the delivery of large, complex programmes for enterprise clients, from day-to-day oversight to advising senior client leaders. You are the main contact for the client and make sure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction hold at every level.

Current clients include Google, Lufthansa, Meta, eBay, and OpenAI. The company has been a certified B Corp and Climate Neutral since 2021.

Responsibilities

  • Take full accountability for delivering one or more strategic client programmes.
  • Act as the client's main contact at operational, tactical, and strategic levels, and handle escalations.
  • Lead and coordinate several projects running in parallel through your project management team.
  • Spot risks, dependencies, and opportunities across the client's landscape and push solutions forward early.
  • Build and grow self-organised delivery teams that work well together and hold a high standard of quality.
  • Work closely with in-house UX, UI, development, and QA specialists, and manage external vendors where needed.
  • Own end-to-end delivery, including budget, forecasting, resource planning, and quality assurance.
  • Keep improving delivery processes, methods, and tools.

Requirements

  • Several years of senior project or programme management experience, ideally at a digital agency or in e-commerce, delivering large digital or technical solutions.
  • A record of running complex, cross-functional client programmes.
  • A solid grasp of digital products, platforms, and technical frameworks, so you can talk with designers, developers, and business stakeholders alike.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management: you build trust, push back constructively, and speak clearly.
  • Experience working with many internal and external stakeholders, including C-level clients.
  • Good command of agile and or traditional project management methods and tools.
  • A strong sense of ownership, structure, and quality.
  • Nice to have: experience mentoring or managing project managers.
  • Working proficiency in English and German is required.

Conditions

Hybrid role based in Hamburg or Berlin, with 1 to 2 days in the office depending on your location.
