Description

The company provides AI-powered customer success software, with a platform covering onboarding, outcomes and advocacy, used by more than 2,000 companies.

This is a full-time Project Manager role on the Atlas Sales Operations team. You will report to the EVP and GM of Atlas.

The role is remote and based in the USA. It suits someone who likes a startup pace and working across engineering, sales, strategy, delivery and finance. The team needs someone strong in program management, planning, sequencing, dependencies and senior communication.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the Atlas workstreams aligned by maintaining one integrated plan that lists owners, milestones and dependencies across engineering, sales, strategy, delivery and finance.
  • Sequence work so the business unit builds in the right order, and raise conflicts and trade-offs with the GM early.
  • Run the operating cadence for workstream reviews, and track decisions and actions until they are closed.
  • Spot problems early, take ownership of the path forward, and make clear who owns what.
  • Check engineering roadmaps against delivery capacity, so training, staffing and process are ready before new features reach customers.
  • Lead capacity planning for internal and external services, including outsourced and nearshore staffing, in line with pipeline and go-live dates.
  • Pull each function's plan into one annual plan for the business unit.
  • Work with Finance on headcount, costs and budget tracking against the plan.
  • Keep the plan's assumptions visible so changes in pipeline, capacity or roadmap show up quickly.
  • Schedule the QBR and board meeting calendar and timelines, and make sure each owner delivers on time.
  • Gather sources, data and status updates so content writers have complete, current information.
  • Flag risks, gaps and decisions needed before each review.
  • The list is not exhaustive, and the scope may change as the team and business grow. The role requires occasional travel for team meetings, training or company events.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of project or program management in a technology, SaaS or managed services setting.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent with some postgraduate study, and/or 12 years of related experience.
  • PMP certification and strong skills in planning, sequencing, dependency management and risk tracking.
  • You can switch between hands-on execution and strategic planning, and handle both at once.
  • Experience working across engineering, sales, strategy, delivery and finance, and taking ownership of outcomes for teams you do not manage.
  • Working knowledge of outsourcing and BPO delivery models, including capacity and staffing planning.
  • Comfort with financial planning, including headcount, budget and capacity models, and working alongside Finance.
  • Strong communication. You can brief senior leaders, make clear recommendations, and stay calm when priorities clash.
  • A bias to act, and willingness to create structure in a startup before processes exist.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience in a startup or a new business unit within an established company.
  • Background in managed services or services delivery.
  • Experience preparing QBR or board materials.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled products or agent-based workflows.

The company is an equal opportunity employer, and San Francisco applicants with arrest or conviction records are considered under the city's Fair Chance Ordinance.
