Description

The role sits in the digital product team for a cold chain monitoring service at the company's World Courier unit, which moves time-critical pharma shipments worldwide.

Customers rely on the monitoring service to confirm their product stays safe at every stage of a shipment.

You will own the digital product capabilities behind temperature and location monitoring, including the Temperature Monitor Selection capability, the RTTM/RTLM digital monitoring services (Argos) and the integration and automation roadmap linking them.

The work turns monitoring service needs into clear business requirements across TMS, X-Act, Customer Portal, Digital Control Tower and related systems.

The business is moving from standalone monitoring devices to integrated monitoring solutions with automated shipment creation, real-time visibility, automated reporting and alerting, and less manual handling.

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritise the roadmap and backlog for the monitoring digital products, including the Temperature Monitor Selection capability, the RTTM/RTLM services and the monitoring integration and automation backlog.
  • Guide the Temperature Monitor Selection capability by setting selection logic, user workflow, data-source alignment and product direction based on packaging type, temperature range and customer requirements, supporting consistent monitor selection across the network.
  • Maintain the improvement backlog for the RTTM/RTLM services, covering adoption, service performance, report generation time and success rate, customer visibility and integration reliability.
  • Prioritise fixes for missing RTTM/RTLM URLs and other integration failures, including those caused by ghost ship units, previous device assignments, incomplete shipment closure, improper shipment creation and monitor status issues.
  • Define business requirements and acceptance criteria for monitoring changes across TMS, X-Act, Customer Portal, Digital Control Tower, eMDM and downstream systems.
  • Work with IT development teams on integrations and updates to TMS, X-Act, DCT and Customer Portal, keeping delivery aligned with agreed priorities.
  • Support the digital setup of monitor ship units, which define monitor type, temperature range, pricing, RTTM/RTLM functions, reporting and Customer Portal visibility.
  • Drive automated shipment creation, report generation and delivery, alerting and customer communications to cut manual handling.
  • Work with Operations and Customer Service to test monitoring workflows, collect feedback and improve usability.
  • Partner with QA, Cold Chain Packaging, Procurement, Packaging Fleet Management and vendors when delivery depends on qualification, documentation, pricing, ship units, device onboarding or system readiness.
  • Work with the Product Owners for Digital Control Tower and Cold Chain Intelligence on proactive shipment management and dashboard strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in product ownership or product management, with a solid record in agile teams.
  • Experience owning a roadmap, prioritising a backlog for digital products or services, and writing business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working with IT development teams on system integrations across several platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence without formal authority in a global, matrixed organisation.
  • An analytical approach, using data and KPIs to set priorities and measure results.
  • Comfort working across cultures and time zones.
  • Knowledge of logistics systems such as TMS, customer portals, or IoT and real-time tracking solutions (highly desirable).
  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, healthcare or logistics (highly desirable).
  • Agile or product certifications such as CSPO or SAFe PO (a plus).
  • English at C1 level or higher, written and spoken (required). Additional languages (a plus).
