Product Owner - Shop (x/f/m)

Description

The team owns the digital product overview and the entry points to product details on the web and in the DKB app, helping customers find banking products that suit them and see what to do next.

You will work with the team to combine clear navigation with personalized recommendations, serving the goals of Sales and Communications.

Responsibilities

• Shape the product overview and the entry points to product details on web and app so customers can find relevant offers, learn more and act on them right away.
• Set priorities for requirements openly, based on expected impact, and turn them into clear tasks for the full-stack team.
• Take product ideas from discovery through to implementation, working closely with Engineering, Design and Research.
• With the CRM team, develop personalized communications across channels that fit each customer's situation.
• Work with Sales and Communications to clarify goals and requirements and keep stakeholders informed.
• Measure the impact of product changes with suitable metrics, customer feedback and research, and use the results to drive the next improvements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Product Owner or in digital product management, ideally in banking or another regulated field.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams, with the ability to structure and rank requirements clearly.
• A habit of putting customers first while weighing their needs against company goals.
• Experience with digital frontends and the ability to discuss solutions and dependencies confidently with frontend and backend developers.
• A hypothesis- and data-driven way of working, using web analytics and other methods to assess performance and identify ongoing improvements.
• Very good German (B2+) and good English.
• Clear communication, the ability to lead discussions with differing views, and reliable, close collaboration with stakeholders and neighbouring teams.
