Description

The company is a Fortune 500 firm that offers an AI platform for managing people, money and agents.

Its finance suite is the system of record for finance teams at thousands of organizations worldwide, and the company is rebuilding how enterprise finance gets done.

The Financial Integrations team builds and owns the integrations that link the finance suite to outside systems: sourcing and supplier payment software used by hotel groups, merchandise planning and warehouse tools used by retailers, and point-of-sale systems used by restaurants.

Each integration makes the company's offering more complete in the industries it serves and turns custom-built work into solutions customers can switch on.

The team is also using AI to generate and check field mappings, stand up integrations and keep them current as file formats and regulations change, because this work is repetitive and sensitive to small errors.

The team puts employees first, and it values flexible schedules, career growth, balance and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product direction and roadmap for your integration portfolio, including the technical capabilities beneath it.
  • Shape each solution around customer requirements, technical architecture and the business result it should produce.
  • Take ownership of what you ship, including its ongoing support and improvement.
  • Lead the partner integration portfolio: define, rank and deliver productized integrations with strategic industry partners.
  • Turn partner file specs and API documentation into clear functional requirements, plan them against partnership and sales timelines, and deliver them as integrations customers configure rather than build.
  • Work directly with strategic partners, implementers and the Industry Ecosystems team from design through build, certification and launch.
  • Set a firm bar for partner specifications, keep joint builds on schedule, and define how each integration is supported after launch.
  • Own the new integration development framework and measure it on development efficiency, deployment cost and how easily customers and implementers can adapt what it delivers.
  • Drive the improvements that close those gaps so the framework covers the full range of integrations, not just one type.
  • Apply AI across the integration lifecycle: generating and checking field mappings, speeding up build and deployment, guiding implementers through customization and tracking changes to file formats and regulations. Aim to deliver and support more integrations without a matching rise in effort.
  • Define how AI-generated output is reviewed before it reaches a customer.
  • Learn the business context behind each Financials product and how customers use it, so your integrations help those products succeed.
  • Act as the product partner to engineering, QA and UX across design, development, testing, release and maintenance.
  • Turn roadmap, delivery status and partner readiness into short updates for product leadership, field teams and customers. Lead technical discussions internally and externally, and represent the product area in the company's community and at its events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, defining and delivering SaaS or cloud-based enterprise software products or features.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business or computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience building scalable integrations between enterprise applications and external systems, with familiarity with integration platforms, REST APIs and SOAP.
  • Hands-on work with outside software vendors, technology partners or implementation partners on a shared technical deliverable.
  • Experience partnering with engineers, QA and UX people to ship products that give customers clear results.
  • Cross-team collaboration: you work across functions toward a shared goal, communicate clearly, resolve disagreements and combine different skills to solve hard problems. In this role you align engineering, partner, go-to-market and neighboring product teams behind one plan.
  • Customer advocacy: you bring customer needs into the company and into product decisions by learning from feedback and support cases. When an integration causes customer pain, you make sure it gets fixed.
  • Research: you gather and assess information before committing. You talk to customers, go through the specs and API contracts yourself, study how others solve the problem, and use data to shape requirements.
  • Stakeholder management: you identify who a decision affects, understand their needs, communicate consistently and resolve conflicts. You can act as the company's side of a partnership, setting expectations, following up on specs and keeping a joint build moving when priorities differ.
  • Decision making: you pick a course from several options by weighing likely outcomes, make clear calls with incomplete information, understand the risk you accept, balance judgment with evidence, and keep multiple projects on track.
  • Strategic thinking: you see the pattern behind individual requests, spot when one-off work points to something reusable, and convert recurring bespoke work into options others can configure.
  • Hands-on with AI: you have used LLM or agent tools in your own product work, such as prototyping, judging output quality or shipping something. You can say where AI helps with data transformation and where it does not.
  • Nice to have: experience with corporate finance or accounting at multinational organizations, or exposure to e-invoicing, tax compliance or statutory reporting.
  • A good fit: you enjoy working through file specs, field mappings and API contracts, and you believe that detail separates an integration that works from one that nearly does. You experiment with AI tools on your own, learn quickly, notice detail, communicate with technical and non-technical people, and enjoy hard problems in a fast-moving setting.
