Description

You will help shape new AI use cases for customers in Retail, Consumer Products and Wholesale Distribution, within Industry AI in Consumer Industries.

The role sits alongside the company's Industry Business Unit, Customer Industry Solutions, Sales and Pre-Sales teams, supporting early-stage AI use case work such as scoping, design and feasibility reviews.

You will be one of 5-10 people in a global product team that turns retail and consumer products needs into AI-driven capabilities ready to scale, working with engineering, services, design and go-to-market colleagues.

The company works across more than 20 industries and touches roughly 80% of global commerce. You will help build assistants and agents that can be used widely.

Product managers here enable others rather than only executing their own work, and co-own strategy. You will usually influence engineering and design without formal authority over them, through the quality of your thinking and your relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Define and push forward new AI use cases with customers in Retail, Consumer Products and Wholesale Distribution.
  • Turn market demand and customer pain points into clear product priorities.
  • Work with engineering, design and data science to build intuitive, scalable, AI-powered capabilities.
  • Support AI use case development by running scoping workshops and design and feasibility assessments, and by handling other project tasks.
  • Turn use case ideas into working assistants and agents.
  • Guide projects so their deliverables fit the longer-term roadmap.
  • Test concepts through quick experiments.
  • Make sure products and projects deliver measurable business results.
  • Coordinate with the company's Industry Business Unit, Customer Industry Solutions, Sales and Pre-Sales teams.

Requirements

  • Strong product leadership and clear communication, including the ability to lead teams through unclear situations.
  • Comfort shaping new products from scratch and working across engineering, design and go-to-market teams.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience on SaaS or data-driven products.
  • Solid understanding of retail and/or consumer products processes, such as merchandising, trade promotion planning, supply chain, store and retail execution, and order to cash.
  • Proven track record taking products from discovery through to launch.
  • Experience leading customer and design workshops and presenting recommendations.
  • Essential: hands-on practice with agentic AI, including adopting AI in daily work, quality assurance of AI outputs, context engineering, and AI-assisted automation and prototyping.
  • Ability to set out and communicate product and project priorities to a varied team.
  • Strong partnership with go-to-market teams, aligning product strategy with sales and customer success.
  • Skills used in the role include competitive analysis, market research, product lifecycle management, roadmapping, the software development life cycle, data-driven decision making, storytelling, customer participation, AI-assisted engineering and high-fidelity prototyping.
  • Ability to build capabilities for AI adoption and to ensure the quality of AI outputs.

Conditions

The company practises pay transparency. The salary range is stated in the posting, and the final offer will sit within it, based on education, skills, experience, location and the scope of the role.

Variable incentives may be offered where applicable. They are target-based, and actual payouts depend on company and individual performance.

A benefits summary and eligibility details are available from the company.

Candidates must follow the company's guidelines on the ethical use of AI in recruiting. Breaking them can lead to disqualification.

Benefits

  • Ongoing learning and skill development.
  • Benefits the company describes as strong.
  • A team that supports your growth and success.
