Description

You will join the Data & Related Services team in the Markets division of the company, a group that is a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. The team sits under the parent company and runs the market data, regulatory news, and ISIN, SEDOL and LEI identifier business lines.

You will report to the Product Director and own the full lifecycle of a set of market data, regulatory news and symbology products, keeping them aligned with the company's product strategy. That covers planning and definition, production, release and retirement, for both new and legacy offerings, including the feature and function specifications.

You will work alongside the Product Director to deliver the product roadmap, creating new products and capabilities that grow revenue. You will oversee each one from concept through delivery to clients and then monitor how it performs.

You will need strong product development practice and will work across all divisions with engineering, sales, marketing, commercial and operations teams. You will report to committee members internally and to customers externally.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape the product roadmap by gathering feedback from clients and colleagues, spotting innovation opportunities, testing feasibility, estimating costs and revenues, and securing senior management approval before delivery.
  • Grow sales by reaching customers through new delivery channels and preparing the products for AI.
  • Present products to clients, support the sales team and find new revenue opportunities.
  • Make sure every product meets the applicable regulations.
  • Work with policy, sales and regulation teams to build one consistent strategy.
  • Benchmark competitors and track changes in the market data industry, including new regulations and new ways clients use market data, then propose new products and policies.

Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of product lifecycle management, software development principles, change management and the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
  • A consistent record of bringing solutions to market, with the ability to handle both high-level and detailed technical problems that affect development and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of delivery methodologies and assurance frameworks.
  • Experience turning business strategy, analysis and client needs into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to set priorities well.
  • Strong skills in building strategy, producing management reporting, and balancing client service, revenue and cost.
  • A self-starter who is committed to excellence and takes a positive approach.

Conditions

The role follows a hybrid model and is blended between office and remote working.

Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.

Career stage: Manager.

The company is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, disability, or any other basis protected by law.
