Description

The company has built a no-code network automation platform used by more than 2,500 large enterprises and managed service providers, founded in 2004. The platform helps IT operations teams scale hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating diagnostic troubleshooting, outage prevention and protected change management.

This is a Product Manager 2 role that acts as the link between product, marketing and go-to-market teams. You will turn product strategy into clear positioning, lead cross-functional launches and make sure the platform meets customer needs and market opportunities. The role suits someone with strong technical grounding, analytical skill, storytelling ability and drive to execute in a fast-moving, AI-driven market.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and backlog for a defined product area, weighing customer needs, technical limits and business priorities.
  • Research customers, the market and competitors to find problems worth solving, and turn findings into clear recommendations.
  • Write user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria, and keep feature documentation and internal knowledge resources up to date.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from customers, Sales and Support, and convert it into ranked product improvements.
  • Work with Engineering, Design and QA from planning through release, tracking progress, managing scope trade-offs and clearing blockers.
  • Maintain roadmaps and timelines for your area and keep stakeholders informed about status, risks and changes.
  • Lead launches for small and mid-sized features and support major ones with Product Marketing and Customer Success, covering launch readiness, internal enablement and customer documentation.
  • Check features against requirements, work with QA and Engineering on issue triage, and ensure releases meet usability and quality standards.
  • Define success metrics for your features, analyze usage and adoption data, and use the results to guide iteration.
  • Track network automation, competitors and AI trends that affect your product area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in product management or a closely related role (such as product operations, business analysis, technical program management or solutions consulting) at a software or technology company.
  • Experience taking features from idea to launch with an engineering team, including writing requirements and prioritizing a backlog.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort using data to assess decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, able to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Ability to work across Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing and Support and influence people without direct authority.
  • Ability to juggle several priorities and deliver with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency with product and collaboration tools such as Jira, roadmapping tools, spreadsheets and presentation software.
  • Interest in networking, IT operations or automation.
  • Experience with SaaS, enterprise software or AI/automation products.
  • Familiarity with networking or IT operations concepts.
  • Experience with product analytics tools.
