Mission

ING Bank is looking for a Customer Journey Expert (Product Manager) to design and continuously improve end-to-end customer journeys for payment acceptance solutions and Business Debit Cards for Business Banking (BB) and Wholesale Banking (WB) clients.

You will connect customer and stakeholder needs with technology, translating them into product vision, roadmaps and backlog priorities, while ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, scalable and deliver business value.

We are a dedicated team focused on creating and continuously improving customer journeys for payment acceptance solutions and Business Debit Cards. By understanding our clients' needs and simplifying complex processes, we aim to deliver seamless, secure and intuitive experiences that drive customer satisfaction and product adoption.

Your day to day

Own the customer journeys and channel experience across digital and assisted touchpoints, ensuring seamless onboarding, servicing and sales processes for business clients.

Collaborate with Business, IT, Product, Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Fraud teams to translate customer needs into executable solutions, align expertise and remove delivery dependencies.

Coordinate the delivery of committed products, journeys and features, ensuring alignment with organizational initiatives, agreed scope and quality standards.

Act as the product expert for POS, SoftPOS, RoPay, eCommerce acceptance and business debit cards for BB and WB.

Translate customer feedback, data insights, operational input, market trends and regulatory developments into journey improvements, new product capabilities and business opportunities aligned with ING strategy.

Monitor product and journey performance through relevant KPIs, such as adoption, approval and activation rates, transaction success rates, revenues, cost-to-serve and customer experience.

Maintain product and journey documentation and ensure solutions comply with applicable regulations, Visa and Mastercard scheme requirements, security standards and fraud prevention requirements.

What you bring to the team

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the banking sector, preferably in cards or merchant acquiring.

Experience in product management and customer journey design, with the ability to manage products and processes end to end.

Knowledge of debit card issuance, approval and administration processes; experience with Business Banking or Wholesale Banking clients is an advantage.

Strong analytical thinking, customer orientation and focus on quality, combined with a proactive, accountable and solution-oriented approach.

A collaborative mindset and strong team spirit, with the ability to build trust and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, influence decisions and balance competing priorities.

Excellent written and spoken English.
