Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Data Platform team. In this role you will discover and drive impactful data products that help us make better decisions and improve player experiences for hundreds of millions of players across our games.

You will have the opportunity to partner with these two teams:

Your goal is simple: help maximize the impact of every piece of data we touch!

You will be working closely with game teams and other central partner teams in a highly cross-functional environment, requiring a good understanding of both tech and business. If this sounds like you - great! Hit apply and let’s talk!

Focusing on the “what” and the “why”

Discover, prioritize and validate high-impact opportunities, help formulate strategy and roadmap

Build strong relationships with game teams and other stakeholders and facilitate alignment

Together with the team set goals, expectations and success metrics - focusing on business outcomes instead of solely output

Bridge business goals and technical execution, taking accountability for product success throughout its life-cycle from initial ideation and discovery to eventual sunset

Deliver data products that solve the right problems and define how we can utilize data to make even better games

What You Have

Extensive expertise in product management with a strong track record of delivering value for business

Sufficient depth technically to engage in meaningfully with technical teams, e.g.

Building productised ML solutions

Building data intensive products, from raw data to actionable insights

Demonstrated ability to define and ship data products that have driven significant impact

Genuine enthusiasm for games and interest in the gaming industry

User-centric - can empathize equally with our internal users and the players

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience in forming and maintaining professional relationships across teams, aligning stakeholders around common directions and timelines

Would Be Nice if You Also Have

Experience in some of the following: personalization, AI bots, AI/BI tooling, experimentation (e.g. A/B testing)

Games industry experience, especially around F2P live-service games

Where You'll Be

The role requires close collaboration with the other central teams and game teams, so ideally, you'd be based in Helsinki.

About Supercell

Supercell is a games company from Helsinki, Finland, with offices also in San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai, and London. You might know us as the makers of Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars . Our mission is to create great games that as many people as possible play for years and that are remembered forever.

So, how do we make great games? By putting together the best teams and giving them the freedom and independence to succeed. And by taking risks, failing, sharing learnings , and killing lots of projects.

Hey, You Might Love It Here!

Independent cells and trust are at the core of our culture . But it takes more than that to make great games. We take good care of our people, providing them with the compensation, work environment, and resources they need to succeed while having fun along the way.

Requirements

  • Here, you won’t need to focus on chasing titles or climbing ladders. Internally, our job titles don’t include prefixes like Senior, Junior, Principal, or Director. Recognition isn’t tied to your title, as it doesn't define the impact you can have around here.

Benefits

  • Luring you in with glitter, glamour, and gems isn't what we're about. We want you to enjoy your time here fully, so we structure our compensation and benefits with that in mind. It starts with perceiving you as a human being, not a resource.
  • Relocation? Yes!
  • No matter where you’re moving from, our dedicated mobility team and partners will support you throughout your move. We’ll ensure the process is as smooth as possible for you and anyone joining you – whether they’re family members of the human or animal kind!
  • Not Sure if You Should Apply?
  • Many candidates with great skills and experience second-guess themselves. The bar is high, but if this role excites you, apply! We’re here to help you succeed. Also, we're happy to learn about any specific accommodations you may need to fully engage in our recruitment process.
  • Wishing you all the best,
  • The Supercell Recruitment team
