Product Engineer

Description

The company runs a recruiting and talent marketplace that pairs expert recruiter workflows with AI-powered tools.

The product engineering team looks for real product problems, then builds the fixes from start to finish and helps set how companies and recruiters work together.

Responsibilities

• Improve the marketplace for companies, recruiters and candidates.
• Build AI systems that learn from hiring data to match candidates and recruiters better.
• Make recruiter tools, including CRM workflows, AI-assisted features and integrations, that cut down on daily friction.
• Take a product from the initial problem through design and build, then measure what it delivers.
• Move between frontend and backend code to ship polished product features.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of full-stack engineering work, ideally at an early-stage, venture-backed startup.
• A track record of shipping products end to end across frontend and backend.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and React, and comfort switching between layers of the stack.
• An undergraduate degree in computer science and solid CS fundamentals.
• Sharp product sense, good design judgment, a sense of ownership and clear communication.
• Comfort making progress quickly when the problem is unclear.
• Plus: experience with AI or machine learning products, including LLMs or AI agents.

Conditions

Base salary between $145,000 and $260,000 USD per year.
