Responsibilities

• Own deliverables across several teams and work with technical leads to find a route that satisfies customer requirements.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for your area within the company.
• Work with senior partners and customers from outside the company, often bridging between organisations.
• Coach engineers to build their skills and help the wider team grow.
• Help produce high-quality technical designs, build work, and delivery plans.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience with deep skill in at least one of: back-end work (Java Spring Boot, Maven, Python) or front-end work (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, npm).
• Proven record of designing, building and deploying scalable back-end systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and containerisation (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS).
• Clear communication, teamwork and problem-solving, ideally in an agile setting.

• Security clearance: you must be a British national to hold this clearance type, and you must currently hold the top tier of UK Government clearance.

Conditions

UK citizenship is required for this role.

Expect around 10% travel.
