Description

You will set the direction and roadmap for the products hospitals and health systems use to load, model and track payer contracts, so reimbursement is calculated correctly, underpayments get flagged and contract terms are applied across the revenue cycle.

You will take on the largest and most complex opportunities in this area, often with several parallel threads, lead the biggest engineering efforts and set the standard for other product managers in the Billing Office.

The company is a global data and technology firm with 25,200 people in 32 countries, serving markets from financial services to healthcare, automotive, agribusiness and insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategy and product direction for contract modeling and rate management, fee schedule loading, underpayment and variance detection, compliance and renegotiation support, and contract analytics and reporting.
  • Lead discovery and strategy for the biggest opportunities in contract modeling, fee schedules and underpayment detection, sometimes running more than one strategic thread at once.
  • Decide portfolio investment priorities, drawing on competitive and market research in contract management.
  • Write business cases backed by credible cost, revenue and ROI models to fund new contract modeling and underpayment detection capabilities, and raise the bar for business case quality and outcome-based OKRs across the Billing Office portfolio.
  • Steer the largest and most complex engineering teams and bets in Contract Management, or lead discovery for the area's most impactful new work, holding the standard for discovery, requirements and launch quality.
  • Use AI and prototyping to reduce risk in ambiguous, cross-team or regulated contract modeling work, and coach others on using these tools responsibly in high-stakes settings.
  • Own the most strategic customer relationships in Contract Management, leading the hardest conversations about contract performance, underpayment recovery and reimbursement accuracy.
  • Stay current on payer contracting, reimbursement methods and the regulatory landscape, and help internal teams in product lifecycle, compliance, procurement, regulatory and data protection streamline launches of new payer contracts and rate-related features.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with a record of owning the largest or most complex product areas in a portfolio.
  • Background in healthcare billing and reimbursement, payer contracts or reimbursement methods; direct work on contract modeling, fee schedules or underpayment detection is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and data-protection rules such as HIPAA is a plus.
  • Experience guiding large or complex engineering teams, or leading discovery for an organization's most significant new bets.
  • A track record of building business cases and financial models that secured investment through cost, revenue and ROI analysis.
  • Experience winning back and managing high-stakes customer relationships.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools, including chat assistants, agentic tools, and developer-integrated or prototyping tools, and experience coaching others on responsible use.
  • Able to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Live in or near the designated Collaboration Hub(s) for this role.
