Junior Software Engineer

Description

You will join the engineering team as a junior engineer and help design, build, test and maintain scalable software. Day to day, you will work alongside experienced engineers on cloud-native microservices, take part in technical debates and code reviews, and keep sharpening your skills. The role suits someone who wants to grow technically, understand the business side and take ownership in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and maintain Java microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Work with engineers, product staff and stakeholders to ship reliable, scalable software.
• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions and efforts to improve how the team works, keeping engineering standards high.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools, automation and CI/CD practices to boost output and speed up delivery.
• Write and update technical documentation, pick up new technologies and share what you learn with the team.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and microservice design.
• Some hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, testing and sound software engineering practice.
• Interest in agentic AI and AI-assisted software development, and a strong drive to learn.
• Experience with Python and React.
