The ZEOS B2B Platform department is the core engine that lets partners integrate with the company ecosystem and grow on it. Its platform combines complex business services behind an API-first environment built for speed and flexibility.

This is an architect role on the shared platform and ecosystem behind both partner-facing and internal products. You will shape how diverse B2B solutions interact and scale, working with a senior group of engineers and product managers.

The platform turns business complexity into scalable, cost-efficient and secure software, and you will guide it as its technical lead. You will translate business requirements into Java-based engineering and keep the platform compliant, extensible and high quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive the technical vision for high-traffic customer portals and internal tools built with React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Guide the move to and optimisation of Micro Frontend (MFE) and SPA architectures so they integrate smoothly across the ZEOS partner landscape.
• Turn complex business opportunities into solution designs that are scalable, cost-efficient and fully aligned with industry standards.
• Guide deployment on AWS and Kubernetes, and secure the web with Okta/OpenID and proxy or gateway setups.
• Act as a core member of the Principal Community, keeping architecture consistent across areas and improving CI/CD, test coverage and Design System (DS) maturity.
• Support engineers, designers and PMs across disciplines, and manage senior stakeholders to keep projects aligned and technically sound.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a Principal Engineer or Solutions Architect, with a record of leading complex, multi-team cloud projects.
• Expert knowledge of the modern web stack (React, TS, Webpack) and deep experience running Micro Frontends at scale.
• Comfort with AWS and Kubernetes, and a solid understanding of networking, including reverse proxies and API gateways.
• Practical experience with modern authentication flows (OpenID/Okta) and defending applications against serious web vulnerabilities.
• Experience working in Agile teams and owning the full lifecycle from discovery to CI/CD deployment and automated testing.
• Ability to explain technical topics to non-engineers and to coach senior engineers through hard architectural decisions.
• Ability to delegate and think at system level, while still stepping in hands-on when a critical technical problem needs your expertise.
