The company offers advisory, infrastructure, security, cloud, AI, professional services, managed services and field services to enterprise clients. This senior, client-facing role suits someone with 15+ years in enterprise technology, consulting or architecture who has advised CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and other top technology leaders.
You will sit between technology strategy, executive advisory, account growth and coordinating delivery teams. Unlike a CSA, who leads broad technical discovery and runs active pursuits, you focus on executive strategy, thought leadership and long-range opportunities. The role carries real business accountability but is not a quota role.
You will work with account executives, client solution architects, specialists, practice leaders, professional and managed services teams, and technology partners.
Responsibilities
Advise senior client leaders, such as CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and infrastructure heads, on strategy, transformation, risk, modernization and emerging technology.
Lead executive conversations and run workshops, strategy sessions, roadmap discussions and innovation briefings.
Turn complex technology shifts into business decisions clients can act on.
Build lasting relationships that reach beyond any single product, project or vendor.
With account executives and CSAs, find where executive engagement can deepen an account, covering technology priorities, executive initiatives, transformation programs, organizational challenges, competitive threats, technical debt and whitespace.
Move clients from one-off purchases toward multi-year strategic relationships.
Introduce ideas, perspectives and solutions clients have not yet considered.
Track major enterprise technology trends and form clear views on where they are heading and how they affect client strategy. Areas include Enterprise AI, AI infrastructure, RAG and agentic AI, data center modernization, networking, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, automation and observability, platform engineering, managed services, Enterprise Service Management and operating model transformation.
Represent the company at executive briefings, client events, industry panels, summits, webinars and partner engagements.
Spot strategic opportunities before they become formal projects or RFPs, and work with sales and CSA leaders to turn executive conversations into real opportunities.
Connect client initiatives to the company's capabilities across advisory, infrastructure, security, cloud, AI, professional services, managed services and field services, and consider the full client lifecycle to widen each opportunity.
Work with CSAs so executive strategy turns into technical discovery and delivery. Bring in specialists, practice leaders, service teams and partners as needed, without owning every pursuit yourself.
Support complex, multi-practice opportunities where executive context and technical strategy matter most.
Coach CSAs and sales teams on executive communication, technology storytelling, business outcome alignment, strategic discovery, opportunity creation, whiteboarding and workshop facilitation. Share client insights, market trends and strategic plays across the organization, and help technical staff feel confident with senior executives.
Build relationships with CTOs, chief architects, field CTOs and technical executives at strategic OEM partners. Bring their insights, roadmaps and innovation into client conversations, identify where joint solutions can set the company apart, and join executive briefings and joint account planning where useful.
Take client and market feedback to company leadership, including recurring challenges, emerging needs and capability gaps. Help shape services, practice strategy, technology investment, partner strategy, enablement and the managed services roadmap with a field view of where demand is going.
Identify security risks, escalate them to the right executive leadership member and help with remediation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Success is measured by strategic influence and the business results of executive engagement, including executive relationships created or expanded, strategic account engagement, executive workshops and advisory sessions, opportunities created proactively, influenced pipeline, opportunity expansion, cross-practice opportunities, professional and managed services attach, strategic account penetration, executive sponsorship in major accounts, client retention and expansion, OEM executive relationships, thought leadership contributions, client feedback and market intelligence, and enablement and coaching impact on sales and CSA teams.
