Description

The company makes a graph database platform and created the graph database category. It is used to build knowledge graphs that give AI systems accurate, explainable and governed context.

Annual recurring revenue has passed $200M after doubling over three years. The company closed a $325M Series F, has raised over $600M in total and is valued at over $2Bn.

Customers include 84% of the Fortune 100 and 58% of the Fortune 500, including Boston Scientific, BT Group, Caterpillar, Cisco, Comcast, Department for Education UK, eBay, NBC News, Novo Nordisk and Worldline.

In this role you lead the design, build and rollout of AI systems that combine graph databases with LLMs. You advise strategic customers on difficult data problems and turn their goals into production AI applications grounded in real context from knowledge graphs.

A Forrester Total Economic Impact study credited the platform with 417% ROI for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with technical leaders, stakeholders and strategic partners to shape and deliver Graph plus GenAI solutions, acting as a trusted adviser on large, high-impact projects.
  • Design scalable, robust architectures for complex enterprise needs, and lead their deployment using established best practices.
  • Work closely with customer leaders to understand their strategy, find where graph-based AI can deliver value at scale, lead requirements discovery and assess their enterprise data landscape.
  • Engage stakeholders at every level to set scope, agree priorities, manage risk and keep delivery on time, linking technical work to business results and measurable impact.
  • Build, test and ship production AI applications that connect graph databases with LLMs and orchestration frameworks, writing production-grade code and tuning for performance and scale, and integrating cleanly with customer systems.
  • Keep measuring and improving deployed applications for speed, scalability and efficiency, adopting new techniques and tools as they appear.
  • Feed field insights into product and marketing planning with the company's Product and Marketing teams, and turn approaches, best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methods and published material.
  • Share your expertise internally and with customers through workshops, training and documentation, so they can use, maintain and rebuild the solutions you deliver.
  • Keep up with the fast-moving GenAI field and actively seek out new trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years architecting and delivering enterprise-grade applications, with a solid grasp of the full software development lifecycle and experience guiding teams through complex design decisions.
  • 5+ years working with LLMs, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning and embedding LLMs in applications. You stay current on commercial and open-source LLM providers, their strengths and their limits.
  • Advanced skill in at least one major language such as Java, JavaScript, Python or C, with a record of clean, maintainable, scalable code in complex systems.
  • Hands-on experience deploying on Linux, Docker and Kubernetes, and expert use of version control systems such as Git or SVN in enterprise teams.
  • Proven experience deploying and scaling applications on AWS, Azure or GCP, with a clear view of cloud-native architecture and DevOps practice.
  • Deep knowledge of the GenAI ecosystem, including frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex and Haystack, and cloud AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI and Azure ML, so you can design end-to-end AI solutions.
  • Background in data engineering, analytics or data science, with experience designing pipelines and workflows for structured and unstructured data. Hands-on work with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark and Hive, and with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Deep expertise in graph data modelling and query languages such as Cypher, plus practical work with graph databases such as the company, Amazon Neptune or TigerGraph, or triple stores such as Ontotext or Stardog.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, with a record of influencing cross-functional teams and aligning technical choices with business goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems, design AI solutions and mentor teams through delivery.
