Presales Engineer - NetApp

The company connects businesses with technology by working with leading vendors and partners to bring IT solutions to market.

The NetApp Presales Engineer is the main technical expert helping grow the company's NetApp business in Hungary.

You will work with the NetApp Business Development Manager, partners and customers to design solutions and give technical support on deals until they close.

You will help partners present NetApp solutions with confidence, offering technical guidance, enablement and solution design across the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design NetApp solutions from customer business and technical needs across storage, hybrid cloud, data management, backup and recovery, cyber resilience and AI/data infrastructure.
• Give technical presales help at every stage of the sales cycle: discovery, solution design, presentations, demos and proofs of concept.
• Train and certify channel partners through technical courses, workshops and hands-on sessions.
• Help partners with proposals, configurations, bills of materials and technical documents.
• Work with NetApp's technical and sales teams, keeping up with technologies, releases, roadmaps and programmes.
• Support competitive positioning and go-to-market work, including customer meetings, partner events, webinars and technical workshops.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years in IT presales, solution architecture, technical consulting or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• You have strong knowledge of enterprise storage, infrastructure, data centre, cloud, backup or data management.
• NetApp experience is preferred. Technical experience with Dell, HPE, Huawei, Hitachi, Pure Storage or similar platforms is also valued.
• You have built solution designs, given technical presentations and demos, and supported B2B sales deals.
• You communicate well and can explain complex technical solutions clearly to partners and customers.
• You are fluent in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken.
