Description

This regular software engineering role supports the USCENTCOM J6 CITS program from Tampa, Florida, within the Solutions Delivery group.

As a senior broad-scope developer, you will turn mission needs into working automations, integrations, applications and pipelines that cut manual operations work and free up capacity.

You will work with business analysts, data engineers and data scientists to deliver capability from start to finish as the program moves to a deliverable-based, automation-first model.

The company is a global technology and professional services firm with 26,000 staff across more than 50 countries, serving US government, defense and intelligence clients in AI, cloud, cyber and software development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test and deploy automations, integrations and applications across the enterprise toolset, using scripting, workflow automation, APIs and low-code tools.
  • Work across the mission stack, covering automation, application development, workflow integration and data movement.
  • Automate manual Operations and Maintenance (O&M) tasks so operators need less hands-on effort over time.
  • Build and connect solutions on vSphere, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Logic Apps, Power Apps), Graph API and Entra ID, and containerized environments (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Write and maintain code in Git-based GitLab pipelines, supporting CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
  • Reuse existing capability before building anything new, checking scope against tools already in the environment.
  • Write solution documentation, release notes and user guides to support handoff and adoption.
  • Work on NIPR and SIPR networks, meeting DoW security, data handling and stewardship standards.

Requirements

  • Build software across several languages and platforms, such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript/TypeScript or C.
  • Have strong automation and scripting skills for integrations, pipelines and process automation.
  • Have low-code and Power Platform experience with Power Automate, Power Apps and Logic Apps.
  • Integrate APIs and systems using REST and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Use Git version control and understand CI/CD pipelines.
  • Turn requirements into working solutions and iterate quickly.
  • Have experience working in secure or DoW environments.
  • Have 5+ years of related experience, including 5 to 8+ years of software development and/or automation engineering.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hold CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
  • Hold an active Secret clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI.
  • Be a US citizen, as only US citizens are eligible due to US Government contract requirements.
  • Highly preferred: DoW 8140 baseline certification, such as Security+.
  • Desired: experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Desired: experience integrating AI and automation services into workflows and applications.
  • Desired: familiarity with mission data platforms (Palantir Foundry / MSS, Databricks) and tooling such as GitLab, OpenShift, RunAI and AWS WorkSpaces.
  • Desired: DevSecOps pipeline experience and secure development practices.
  • Desired: familiarity with USCENTCOM and J6 mission systems and requirements.
