Description

The company's partner design studio is hiring a Partner Solution Engineer to help partners design, validate and speed up differentiated solutions on the platform.

The approach is AI-first, so AI is considered at every stage of design and solutioning. Solutions should be AI-ready, scalable and focused on outcomes.

The role is a pooled, forward-deployed engineering authority. You work across many partners to improve standards, reuse and quality, and you join Practices as needed to add domain depth.

Using the FLIGHT design thinking framework and strict architectural discipline, you aim to cut partner time-to-value by up to 2x and build reusable patterns and reference architectures for the whole partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Define the reference architectures, design standards and validated patterns that partners build to, acting as the forward-deployed technical authority for AI-infused solutions that tackle real business problems.
  • Lead design workshops with the FLIGHT framework to set AI-native reference patterns and the solution standards partners follow on the platform.
  • Bring an AI-first view to every partner engagement, from workshops through solution architecture, so partners can lead in an AI-driven market.
  • Turn partner ideas and industry opportunities into blueprints, validated architectures and minimum viable product specifications.
  • Lead discussions on market positioning, industry opportunities and how AI can make a solution stand out.
  • Give expert guidance on architecture and AI readiness so partner solutions meet the company's standards for quality, performance and simplicity.
  • Carry out deep architecture reviews for new patterns, complex multi-product integrations and advanced AI and agentic scenarios.
  • Assess solution architectures against the Partner Co-Innovation Framework, covering upgrade survivability, security posture and scalability.
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to align partner innovation with platform priorities and AI strategy.
  • Capture, document and publish repeatable patterns, architectures and design frameworks, including Orbital and FLIGHT, to scale partner innovation.
  • Build industry reference architectures for Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Public Sector.
  • Contribute validated patterns to the Pattern Library for partners in every Co-Innovation Maturity Tier.
  • Keep improving design frameworks and delivery methods to strengthen partner experience and measurable business results.
  • Mentor partner design and solution teams in AI-native solution development and platform extensibility.
  • Run educational design reviews for Foundation-tier partners to speed up their learning.
  • Help partners set go-to-market strategies, technical goals and measurable outcomes with AI-enhanced capabilities in mind.
  • Highlight partner success stories, showing business impact and thought leadership from design and standards work.

Requirements

  • Required: At least 8 years in solution architecture, technical sales, pre-sales or a similar role, with deep platform architecture experience.
  • Required: Significant experience working with technology partners at partner or OEM level, including solution design and reference architecture definition.
  • Required: Solid understanding of cloud platform architecture, including SaaS, PaaS, automation and multi-tenancy patterns.
  • Required: Proven ability to guide partners through complex solution designs and business strategy discussions.
  • Required: Deep interest in and expertise with AI technologies, emerging trends and design thinking methods.
  • Required: Clear communicator who can speak with CxO-level audiences and turn technical topics into practical business insight.
  • Required: Experience running workshops, design sessions and collaborative innovation exercises that produce concrete results.
  • Required: Experience using AI in work processes, decision-making or problem-solving, or thinking critically about how to apply it.
  • Preferred and standout: Experience developing on the platform and/or holding certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS or architect-level credentials.
  • Preferred and standout: Design thinking training or certification, and experience applying human-centered design to partner-facing design and standards work.
  • Preferred and standout: AI and automation expertise, such as generative AI, predictive analytics or automation tools in enterprise solutions.
  • Preferred and standout: Business development background, including building partner go-to-market plans or new solution plays.
  • Preferred and standout: Industry experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing or Public Sector.
  • Preferred and standout: Familiarity with competing cloud or enterprise software platforms.
