About the role

We are looking for an experienced Paid Search Manager to join our team, working across two exciting clients: FedEx and SC Johnson (SCJ).

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to take ownership of paid search activity across two very different accounts, combining hands-on campaign management with strategic planning, client relationship management and team leadership.

With approximately 60% of your time dedicated to FedEx and 40% to SCJ, you will play a key role in driving search performance, shaping campaign strategy and identifying opportunities to evolve how both clients approach paid search.

On FedEx, you'll be joining a small, close-knit team with a real opportunity to influence the future of its search activity. The client is keen to accelerate its search maturity, explore new approaches to optimisation and embrace emerging technologies, including AI and search automation.

For SCJ, you'll be part of a larger team, take ownership of Google Ads activity manage activity end to end, from campaign planning and optimisation through to reporting and client communication, with opportunities to become more involved in wider planning and e-commerce activity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution and optimisation of paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads/Bing, SA360 and Amazon Ads
  • Manage significant monthly media budgets, ensuring effective allocation and optimisation across multiple markets, campaigns and objectives.
  • Develop strategic media plans, including budget recommendations, forecasting and investment allocation.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day client relationships, leading performance discussions, reporting calls and presenting actionable recommendations.
  • Drive campaign performance through advanced optimisation techniques, including value-based bidding, audience strategies and testing.
  • Manage campaigns across multiple international markets, adapting investment and strategies to reflect individual market requirements and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve search maturity, explore emerging technologies and introduce innovative approaches to campaign management.
  • Oversee campaign reporting, analysis, quality assurance and financial processes, ensuring accuracy and best-in-class delivery.
  • Manage, support and develop junior team members, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality campaign execution.
  • Work collaboratively with wider teams to deliver integrated media strategies and identify opportunities to expand client relationships.

Requirements

  • We're looking for someone who combines strong technical paid search expertise with the confidence to take ownership of client relationships and drive strategic conversations.
  • You'll ideally bring:
  • Proven experience managing paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads/Bing.
  • Experience managing substantial media budgets, ideally in the region of £150k+ per month.
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple international markets, ideally 10+ markets.
  • A strong understanding of value-based bidding and advanced search optimisation techniques.
  • Experience with SA360 and/or other third-party bid management platforms.
  • Exposure to Amazon Ads and/or DV360 would be beneficial.
  • Strong planning and budgeting capabilities, with the ability to develop strategic recommendations and manage investment effectively.
  • Confidence leading client relationships, presenting performance insights and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members, including working with offshore teams.
  • A genuine interest in emerging search technologies, AI and automation, and how these can shape the future of paid media.
  • You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Work across two major global brands, gaining exposure to different industries, markets and paid search challenges.
  • Take ownership of substantial international search budgets and play a key role in shaping campaign strategy.
  • Help drive the next stage of search maturity for FedEx, exploring new technologies, AI and innovative approaches to search.
  • Develop your experience across e-commerce and broader digital media opportunities with SCJ.
  • Build strong client relationships and have a genuine influence on how search strategies evolve.
  • Work within a collaborative team environment, with the opportunity to support and develop junior talent.
  • To the extent permissible by local law, Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
