Multiple Positions - Platform Manager - Operations

Description

The company is building out its global custody platforms and is hiring two Platform Managers to act as trusted partners and subject-matter experts. You will help teams work through complex custody processes, platform priorities, operational needs, and business change.

Candidates can align with one of two paths: GTX Platform and SWIFT, or Custody Strategy and Relationship Management.

GTX Platform and SWIFT: This manager focuses on the GTX platform, the business processes it supports, and how it connects to product and platform management. GTX is a current top priority, so you can contribute quickly and build deep expertise in a specialized setting.

You may be a strong fit if you have experience with:

GTX or comparable transaction-processing platforms

SWIFT messaging, workflows, or payment infrastructure

Platform or product management in financial services

Turning operational requirements into platform priorities

Working with Operations, Product, and technology-facing teams

Handling complex platform issues, enhancements, and business change

Custody Strategy and Relationship Management: This manager uses broad custody knowledge to lead relationships, support team capacity, and advise as a subject-matter expert. The role is less hands-on with the platform and more about connecting stakeholders with the knowledge, guidance, and operational support needed to keep priorities moving.

You may be a strong fit if you have experience with:

Global custody or securities operations

Trade lifecycle processes

Asset setup and servicing

Trade services and settlements

Global income or corporate actions

Legacy custody functions and operating models

Relationship management and coordination across functions

Responsibilities

• Duties vary by position and may include:
• Act as a trusted subject-matter expert on the platform or custody operation.
• Build relationships with custody operations, product, platform management, and other stakeholder groups.
• Turn business and operational needs into priorities and solutions.
• Support platform capacity, operational readiness, and changing business requirements.
• Use trade lifecycle knowledge to spot dependencies and inform decisions.
• Speed up knowledge transfer and keep specialized custody expertise available.
• Join complex custody discussions, including client-facing ones where appropriate.
• Help improve custody processes, platforms, and operational capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Typically six or more years of related experience
• Preferred: experience in custody, securities operations, financial-services platforms, or a closely related field
• Preferred: knowledge of trade lifecycle activities and custody servicing functions
• Preferred: experience supporting or managing complex operational platforms
• Preferred: strong relationship-management and stakeholder skills
• Preferred: ability to explain complex operational or platform information clearly
• Preferred: sound judgment when balancing competing priorities
• Preferred: ability to earn credibility with operational, product, and platform partners
• Preferred: a collaborative approach to knowledge transfer, problem-solving, and change
• Preferred: advanced understanding of, and demonstrated ability to apply, the Lean/Agile mindset
• Preferred: demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, including working with and empowering teams
• Preferred: strong verbal and written communication
• Preferred: standard industry certifications such as SAFe, CSPO, or PSPO

You must work from a company location three (3) or more days per week.
