Description

The customer success team runs cloud migrations for the company's customers, moving them from legacy environments to modern cloud architectures.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role that mixes customer relationship work with technical delivery.

You are the main technical and strategic contact for a migration pod and coordinate closely with the company's GDC engineering partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical delivery, project health and go-live results for each customer migration, from kickoff onward.
  • Work with account teams and sales leaders to tie migration goals to the customer's wider business plans, including renewals and expansion.
  • Build working relationships with business and technical stakeholders, turning hard migration problems into clear decisions.
  • Write focused delivery plans that put high-impact milestones first and keep pod timelines on track.
  • Run enablement and alignment sessions so customer teams are ready and confident for each platform change.
  • Adopt AI agents and automation tools to speed up discovery, data mapping and code conversion, cutting manual work and shortening timelines.
  • Delegate repeatable technical tasks to GDC partners while staying responsible for the quality of their output.
  • Stay close to Outbound Product Managers, track product roadmaps and pass field findings back as product improvements.
  • Spot unused platform features and add them to migration roadmaps to raise customer throughput and adoption.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in at least one domain: Marketing Cloud (Engagement/Intelligence), Data 360 (Data Cloud), Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing) or Tableau.
  • Use AI and prompt engineering skills to direct AI agents on data retrieval, migration health reporting and task automation.
  • Serve as the technical contact during major migration incidents, working with Engineering and Product to protect customer operations during cutover.
  • Watch technical trends and recommend releases that improve performance and stability in migrated environments.

Requirements

  • Required: 8+ years in professional services, customer success or technical consulting, with a strong record of large-scale platform migrations.
  • Required: deep hands-on expertise in Marketing Cloud (Engagement/Intelligence) and/or Data 360 (Data Cloud).
  • Required: a proven ability to drive business value, lead technical discussions and handle complex stakeholder conversations.
  • Required: the skill to explain complex technical architectures in plain business terms and guide customers through data transformations.
  • Required: proven experience with global or offshore delivery models, such as GDC, to speed up delivery.
  • Required: advanced knowledge of the company core (Sales/Service Cloud) or specialized clouds (Marketing, Data, Revenue or Tableau).
  • Required: familiarity with AI agents or automation tools used for data mapping, sentiment analysis or task automation.
  • Required: understanding of how target cloud platforms connect with telephony systems, third-party data sources and self-service portals.
  • Preferred: certifications in relevant domains, such as Marketing Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant or Tableau Desktop Specialist.
  • Preferred: prior experience as an individual contributor leading multi-million-dollar transformation engagements.
  • Preferred: the company AI Associate or Agentblazer certification.

Conditions

A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, assessed against the role's core competencies, including leadership in extracurricular activities, military service, volunteer work and paid work experience.

Candidates should apply for no more than 3 roles within 12 months to avoid duplicated effort.

Benefits

  • You will work with a team shaping how customers adopt the next generation of cloud technology, with access to current AI tools and a global delivery model.
  • You will have a direct line to the Product teams building the platforms you support.
  • Your field experience will feed into how migration tooling develops, and your work will be visible across the business.
  • The company offers benefits and resources aimed at helping you keep a healthy balance.
