Middle+ Project Manager (Remote, Contract)

Description

This is a remote contract role for a Middle+ project manager who will lead and coordinate projects across departments, including digital, SaaS, technology and AI-related work.

The work centres on improving business processes and linking systems, processes and technology into one delivery plan.

Responsibilities

• Run projects from start to finish, including several at once across departments, and keep them on scope, schedule and budget.
• Plan each project by designing solutions, setting budgets, assigning people and managing risks.
• Study workflows and processes, find where they can be improved, and turn those findings into clear project requirements.
• Improve business processes through research, process mapping, data analysis and gap analysis.
• Engage stakeholders at every stage: clarify needs, give progress updates, present results and set expectations.
• Direct cross-functional business and technical teams on scope, priorities and backlog.
• Oversee rollout and change management so stakeholders stay involved and adoption goes smoothly.
• Coordinate how business systems, processes and technology solutions fit together.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of project management experience, including leading projects from the initial request through to implementation.
• Experience at a product company or startup, working with internal stakeholders and users.
• Experience managing digital products, SaaS, technology or AI-related projects.
• Experience with AI-powered products, AI solutions or AI-enabled business processes.
• Hands-on experience improving business workflows and delivering beyond development work and standard SDLC processes.
• English at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Background in Business Analysis or Product Management (a plus).
• Working knowledge of no-code or low-code tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Bubble or Bolt (a plus).
