Description

The company is a frontier lab working on action models and world models that perceive, predict, and act across virtual and physical environments. It sits alongside Medal, a gaming clip platform with millions of users who capture, share, and find games each year. The company has raised over $650M from Khosla, GC, Valor, and Point72 since October 2025 and recently closed a round at a $6.2B valuation.

Responsibilities

  • Models are trained on games that involve many embodiments, and simulation is becoming a bigger part of extending them.
  • You will work in two directions: training low-level robot controllers with RL in simulation, and building environments realistic enough to train in rather than only to evaluate.
  • You will own this work from the physics layer up to how controllers connect to the company's models.

Requirements

  • Hands-on simulation experience running in production, ideally on Isaac Sim or MuJoCo.
  • You have owned environments, assets and domain randomization in a major simulator.
  • You have set physics fidelity yourself, including contact models, actuator dynamics and solver settings.
  • 6+ years of hands-on robot learning in simulation, such as contact-rich manipulation, legged locomotion, whole-body control, or similar.
  • Strong fundamentals in reinforcement learning and sim-to-real transfer.
  • You have deployed simulation-trained policies on real robots across more than one embodiment.
  • You have built simulation from scratch rather than only training in an environment someone else designed, ideally as the first simulation engineer on a team, and others have relied on what you built.
  • You have led simulation work while staying hands-on, set technical direction, raised the level of the engineers around you, ideally including hiring them, and still write code.
  • You work across the full stack, from the solver and low-level controller up to high-level policies.

This is an in-person role in one of the company's offices in New York, Geneva, or Zurich.
