Description

The company is building an AI-driven marketplace that helps patients find suitable care, compare transparent pharmacy prices, and get affordable medications.

The platform shows prices before patients pay, manages medications across different providers, and keeps patients' medical records available over the long term.

The company has grown quickly in recent years by pairing clinical expertise with technology built for everyday patients, not only hospital systems.

You will turn medical research into finished content: reading the studies, finding the angle, writing the script, and producing it as video, audio, and social posts. The role combines medical writing and production, and you will move quickly when major research or news breaks.

Responsibilities

  • Write scripts for short-form video, long-form explainers, podcasts, and social posts, starting with story ideas you pitch yourself.
  • Critically appraise clinical literature across therapeutic areas, including trials, reviews, and guidelines.
  • Follow medicine and the health market, covering approvals, label changes, pipeline results, pricing, coverage, and policy, and turn these into timely content.
  • Plan shoots, prepare experts, support interviews, write shot lists, and work with editors on cuts.
  • Verify every fact and keep a source file for each piece.
  • Write a regular trend brief for internal teams.
  • Coordinate with clinical reviewers, designers, and the social team on publishing and distribution.
  • Success is measured by zero factual corrections, consistent on-schedule output, accurate news content within 48 hours of a major study or FDA decision, and engagement and audience growth on the content you help produce.

Requirements

  • 0, 3 years of experience in medical writing, medical communications, health content production, or a related area. Recent graduates with strong writing samples are encouraged to apply.
  • Writing samples are required.
  • Advanced degree in a life science or health field, such as a PhD, PharmD, MPH, RD, or MD.
  • Ability to read medical research and trial data, including endpoints, effect sizes, confidence intervals, and study limitations.
  • Ability to explain complex medical topics to a general audience while staying accurate.
  • Quick to learn unfamiliar therapeutic areas.
  • Skill writing scripts meant to be heard: short sentences, clear structure, and little jargon.
  • Experience writing social scripts with strong hooks in the opening seconds, short-form pacing, and one idea adapted across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Understanding of what drives reach, watch time, and engagement on each platform, and how to use analytics to improve content.
  • Interest in video and audio production, with some hands-on work in interviewing, storyboarding, or editing in Premiere, Final Cut, Descript, or similar tools.
  • On-camera or voiceover experience.
  • Motion graphics skills.
  • Experience with health-content regulations or editorial standards.
  • Produced video, audio, or multimedia work is a plus, including student or personal projects.
