Marketing Specialist

Description

The company is hiring a Marketing Specialist for its Portland, OR office, to prepare proposals, presentations and communication materials for program management services.

The role also coordinates the distribution of internal and external marketing information.

Responsibilities

• You will prepare public sector proposals and presentations for new business, responding to RFPs and RFIs and advising on branding, messaging and RFP/RFI compliance.
• You will review internal and external collateral, proofread and edit content, check branding, and approve materials for final release.
• You will help coordinate and carry out marketing strategies.
• You will help the local office leadership prepare marketing materials when needed.
• You will maintain and update the marketing library of standard boilerplate proposals, presentations and other collateral.
• You will check work products for branding, content and formatting, and oversee production of deliverables.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• You will make decisions based on procedures and company policy to hit set results and deadlines, and you will set your own project deadlines. Poor judgment may affect co-workers and your supervisor in the short term.

• You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university, and 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training.
• You have experience supporting proposal work in the A/E/C industry, and knowledge of that industry.
• You have experience with InDesign.
• Experience with Deltek Vision is preferred.
• Experience preparing federal proposals in SF330 format is preferred.
• Experience creating social media content is a plus.
• You communicate well in writing and verbally, and you organize information and analyze it clearly.
• You provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients.
• You present information effectively, and you can read, analyze and interpret documents.
• You solve problems that involve several options.
• You have intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
• You have intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
