Marketing Proposal Manager

Description

The role sits in the Power Transformer team and focuses on proposals that reach customers across several market channels.

You will shape bids so they are accurate, on time, and consistent with what customers expect and with internal standards.

Attention to detail and strategic thinking matter in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of bids and quotations from customer RFQs.
• Work with sales, engineering, legal and finance to build offers that win.
• Run risk reviews and confirm that every bid requirement is covered.
• Keep records accurate and log outcomes in Salesforce.
• Support negotiations and answer customer questions quickly.
• Check purchase orders against the offers that were submitted.
• Lead internal and customer-facing meetings to keep projects aligned.
• Advise on product capabilities and how the products are positioned in the market.
• Make sure work follows applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, with engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in proposal management.
• Experience with transformers, power delivery equipment or related fields such as utilities, renewables or data centers, preferred.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
