Marketing Intern - Summer 2027

This is a 10-week summer internship, held in person in Atlanta, from May 24 to July 30, 2027.

As a category marketing intern, you will help plan, coordinate, and carry out integrated marketing work for the company's merchandise categories.

Interns join a cohort from across the organization. You will work on your team while also getting to know the other interns through shared sessions over the summer.

Responsibilities

• Help build and update the yearly marketing plans for the categories you are assigned.
• Collect competitive, consumer, financial, and business data to back up marketing recommendations.
• Help coordinate marketing programs across owned, earned, shared, and paid channels.
• Help prepare for supplier discussions and updates on the company's marketing initiatives.
• Support creative briefs, asset reviews, and work with the internal creative teams.
• Work with category, marketing, and other cross-functional partners to get programs delivered.

Requirements

• You are currently a rising junior or senior in an undergraduate program in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
• You are interested in retail, B2B, category management, or integrated marketing.
• You communicate well in writing and speaking and stay organized.
• You have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• You have strong analytical ability.
• A GPA of 25 or above is preferred.

• You deliver results and keep the customer at the center of decisions by staying focused on outcomes.
• You make balanced decisions and think strategically about what comes next.
• You will work in a professional office environment.

Conditions

The internship runs from May 24 to July 30, 2027, although one section of the posting lists July 20, 2027 as the end date.

The work week is 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.

The role is in person in Atlanta.
