  • Build and support PeopleSoft Workflow.
  • Write, tune and debug complex SQL, and keep a clear picture of data flow across core tables.
  • Write efficient, scalable code for large data volumes without hurting system performance.
  • Tune PeopleSoft processes, SQL, interfaces and custom components.
  • Produce functional and technical design documents, plus process models, data models, data-flow diagrams and entity-relationship diagrams for other developers.
  • Write and run unit and system test plans that check completeness, stability, function and production impact.
  • Support user acceptance testing by coordinating business users, fixing defects and confirming expected results.
  • Help with rollouts, deployments and post-go-live support.
  • Resolve production issues with analysts and technical colleagues.
  • Keep full documentation of changes, customizations, interfaces and technical processes.
  • Help set and promote team development standards, coding practices and documentation standards.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical people, keeping a customer focus.
  • Manage your own priorities and deadlines, and contribute within a cross-functional team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years programming PeopleSoft applications and related technologies.
  • 7+ years hands-on PeopleSoft Financials development, including AR, AP and GL.
  • 7+ years working in RHEL and Windows environments.
  • 5+ years working with Oracle databases.
  • 7+ years of relational database design and development.
  • Expert SQL: query development, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Experience across the PeopleSoft lifecycle, from requirements and design through build, testing, deployment and production support.
  • Solid grasp of core tables, data relationships and data flow.
  • Experience writing technical design and system support documentation.
  • Proven record writing and running unit and system test plans.
