Description

The company is Havana Club's international marketing team, based at the Paris headquarters. You will help the Brand Communication, Content, Partnerships & Experience team make Havana Club a culturally connected brand across markets. The internship covers communication strategy, content creation, large-scale brand experiences, cultural collaborations and influencer marketing.

Start date is 2027-01-04 and end date is 2027-06-30. The internship lasts 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the brand communication budget split of 30% (ATL and digital campaigns, creative briefs for agencies and production partners, shoots, toolkits, social assets and guidelines, tone of voice and visual consistency, monthly competitor benchmarks, content trend research, post-campaign analysis) and act as the link between global teams, agencies and local markets.
  • Spend 60% of your time on brand partnerships and experience, covering festival activations worldwide (rolling out the global activation toolkit, keeping local adaptations consistent, briefing on-site content teams, building recap decks and performance reports, finding ways to improve future editions) following the 2025 rollout, which the 2026 plan aims to scale.
  • Support global influencer campaigns end to end (briefs, contracts, content approval, reporting), help shape the influencer roadmap, source and assess creators, DJs, artists and cultural opinion leaders, write guidelines for local markets, and track KPIs and monthly results.
  • Help coordinate cultural collaborations and artist partnerships (roadmap, assets, toolkits, launch readiness), support events within the influence ecosystem, and aim for strong earned media.
  • Bring fresh ideas for creator content and cultural activations, run monthly benchmarks on competitors and top-performing brands in events and influence, and follow emerging cultural talent and trends.
  • Spend 10% of your time on operations: event logistics, orders, seeding, shoot preparation and deliveries, internal organisation, cross-team alignment, and sharing trend reports and cultural inspiration.

Requirements

  • You are studying marketing and/or communication.
  • You are energetic, curious and collaborative, and comfortable working with several stakeholders in an international setting.
  • You are organised, proactive and solution-oriented, and can work within the processes of a large company while staying agile.
  • You are passionate about music and cultural scenes such as Latin, Afrobeat, Afrohouse and global festivals.
  • You are digitally fluent, know social formats and creator culture well, and are confident proposing new ideas.
  • You have a strong interest in brand marketing across campaigns, events, influence and social platforms, and a good eye for visual and cultural trends.
  • You manage projects well and work autonomously, with at least one earlier project coordination experience.
  • You write and speak English fluently. Spanish and French are a bonus.
  • You must be able to complete a 6-month internship and provide an agreement from your school or university.
  • Your main contacts are the marketing team (marketing managers, digital managers, architecture and activations managers, brand ambassador), local market entities and agencies.
  • School background and CV length do not matter; motivation and commitment do.

The internship runs from 2027-01-04 to 2027-06-30.
