Description

The company is a fan-driven anime business serving more than 100 million fans in over 200 countries and territories, across streaming, theatrical, games, merchandise and events.

The Manager, Marketing Versioning keeps global marketing production and versioning running day to day. You report to the Director of Marketing Versioning and turn approved creative from Central Creative into static and video assets that regional teams can activate, making sure those teams can find final, approved assets and know they are ready.

You will run daily production coordination for static and video versioning, covering intake, scheduling, trafficking, localization routing, dependencies, version control and handoffs. You work closely with Central Creative on production and with regional Marketing Operations on localization workflows, standards and guidance.

Working under the Director's direction, you help put in place departmental workflows, SOPs, tools, repository standards and process changes that cut friction between creative production and regional activation, and that improve consistency, scalability and visibility across Marketing Versioning Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Help the Director turn department priorities into daily execution across global production and versioning.
  • Coordinate creating, preparing, versioning and delivering global static and video assets that regional marketing teams can use across campaigns, platforms and markets.
  • Work with Central Creative to turn approved creative into scalable global assets and versions that meet marketing, technical and distribution requirements.
  • Give regional marketing teams clear visibility into available assets, approved versions, locations, readiness and any usage or production requirements.
  • Act as the operational Center of Excellence for regional Marketing Operations, providing workflows, production standards, versioning rules, localization processes and best practices for adapting and activating global assets.
  • Run project intake, scheduling and prioritization, and manage production and trafficking, tracking timelines, dependencies, open deliverables and risks across concurrent global campaigns.
  • Coordinate localization and market-specific adaptation as needed, keeping localized versions aligned with approved global creative and delivery standards.
  • Manage handoffs and trafficking of finished assets between Central Creative, Marketing Versioning Operations, regional teams and other production or distribution partners.
  • Track asset readiness and delivery status, and flag missing assets, version conflicts, dependencies and other issues that could affect regional activation before they arise.
  • Keep the asset repository organized, tagged and tracked, with accurate metadata and clear final-version marking.
  • Implement and maintain the Director's workflows, SOPs, documentation and production standards across Marketing Versioning Operations.
  • Review production and asset workflows and recommend changes that improve efficiency, traceability, discoverability and ease of use for central and regional teams.
  • Provide operational reporting and project visibility to support planning, prioritization, capacity management and risk identification.
  • Work with Creative Services, Brand Marketing, Campaign Marketing, regional Marketing, Media Management, Production and other cross-functional teams to keep asset requirements, timelines, readiness and deliverables aligned.
  • Help roll out new tools, technologies, repository improvements and workflow changes that speed the movement of assets from central production to regional activation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing production, AV production, localization, creative operations or project management in media, entertainment, streaming or post-production.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting or managing production operations, cross-functional teams and global marketing workflows.
  • Working knowledge of AV production, localization, asset management, versioning and digital content delivery across several distribution platforms.
  • Proficiency with Wrike, Airtable, media asset management systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, Adobe Creative and similar tools.
  • Strong project, production workflow and asset management skills in a fast-moving global marketing or creative production setting.
  • Experience preparing, versioning, trafficking, organizing and delivering marketing assets across multiple teams, markets and platforms.
  • Strong grasp of static and video production workflows, including versioning, delivery requirements, repository management and regional adaptation.
  • Experience supporting global or regional marketing teams and building scalable processes and standards across distributed stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of digital asset organization, metadata, version control, readiness and repository governance.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well across functions, coordinating Central Creative, production, operations and regional marketing stakeholders.
  • Sharp critical thinker who spots production risks, resolves asset and versioning problems, and escalates issues with context and suggested fixes.
  • Working knowledge of localization and market-specific adaptation within wider global marketing production.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, focused on consistency, traceability, scalability and reducing friction between creative production and regional activation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
