Description

The company makes an AI platform for MedTech that over 500 medical technology companies use, including 16 of the top 20. Customers use it to find target markets and top opportunities, combining real-world healthcare data with AI-driven insights to help firms from pre-commercial stage up to enterprise size sell sooner.

The company ranked No. 316 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private US companies and was named to Forbes' 2025 "Next Billion-Dollar Startups" list, which picks 25 venture-backed US companies most likely to reach a $1 billion valuation. Its investors include Stepstone Group, Benchmark, Redpoint Ventures, ICONIQ and Atreides Management.

The platform shows medtech teams how their products are used, why outcomes differ, and where physicians or care sites could serve patients better.

As a Solution Engineer, you will support the sales process with technical product knowledge, tailored solutions and customer success work. You will work with Sales to understand what customers need, give strong product demos, and use a consultative approach to identify business and technical needs and recommend how to implement the platform.

The team aims to be a strategic partner to customers and prospects. It keeps deep product knowledge and tracks medical device industry trends, builds long-term customer relationships, and works with other teams to spot opportunities, simplify processes and improve offerings. It promotes data-driven insight and holds high professional, ethical and integrity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery conversations to learn about customers' business challenges, technical setup and requirements.
  • Design and present tailored solutions that meet those needs and show the value of the company's products and services.
  • Work with Sales on account plans and on moving deals forward.
  • Turn customer technical requirements into future-state designs that show how the platform fits into their existing tech stack.
  • Give product demos, proofs of concept and presentations that show the platform's value.
  • Answer technical questions and write functional and technical responses to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Pass customer needs, industry trends and competitor activity to Product, Engineering and Marketing to guide product improvements.
  • Speak at industry events, webinars and conferences to build brand awareness.
  • Contribute to the team, learn, and share what you know.
  • Travel domestically, up to 30%-40% of the time.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in the IT industry, focused on pre-sales or technical sales. Ideally you have worked at a vertical AI company. A MedTech or healthcare IT background is not required, and experience across several industries counts for more than a long tenure in one.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong spoken and written communication, especially in needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing.
  • Excellent presentation and demo skills, with the ability to speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, AI or ML products, or other enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Experience working across teams such as sales, marketing, product management, engineering and customer success.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and willing to take initiative in a changing environment.
  • A strong problem solver who thinks creatively to design solutions for customer needs.
  • Clear fluency with AI-driven products and the ability to learn quickly as AI capabilities change.
  • Nice to have: experience in MedTech or healthcare. Experience across verticals, especially at other AI-focused companies, is equally valued.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with data analytics, business intelligence tools and data visualisation techniques.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of common industry data sources such as NPI, Medicare claims, PubMed, and ICD, CPT and HCPCS codes.
  • You must have an eligible work permit in the USA or Canada to be considered.
