Description

The company runs the operations platform that private fund managers, called GPs, use to manage their funds, with technology, data and fund administration in one place. It serves more than 2,300 GPs, handles over $300B in assets under administration and has more than 700,000 LPs on the platform.

The company was founded in 2014, is led by its founder, has raised more than $350M and employs over 1,000 people. Its AI platform, JunieAI, embeds intelligence across workflows.

Work can be fully remote or in an office. Teams are spread across 27 US states, 2 Canadian provinces, India, Luxembourg and England. Offices are in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore.

The R&D organization is growing globally and is hiring senior technical product leaders. This role owns cross-company capabilities, where hitting business goals depends on working across teams. You will set the vision, build the roadmap and drive adoption, with a high bar for quality and security, and you will own a business or product domain end to end.

You will work independently in a fast-growing global team, apply first-principles thinking and keep clients at the center of each decision. You should be able to join technical discussions and enjoy learning about technology. Many people in this role have been engineers, but it is not required. The specific area will be decided during interviews, based on your background and business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a large, technically complex product area, defining success, setting priorities and strategy with the whole company in mind
  • Find the most important near-term and long-term opportunities, and get agreement on their order given engineering capacity, risk and business needs
  • Run shared capabilities as internal products, with clear documentation and an easy path for teams to adopt them instead of building their own
  • Set expectations for adoption and reliability, and measure how consistently teams use shared capabilities
  • Bring build-versus-buy decisions, technical debt and sequencing into architecture discussions with engineering leaders
  • Research industry practices and new technology, including AI, and turn what you learn into strategy
  • Maintain feedback channels with stakeholders inside and outside R&D, and use their input to set priorities
  • Define success metrics, track KPIs and adjust strategy as you learn and as conditions change
  • Lead through influence by sharing your technical vision, earning trust and driving adoption across teams

Requirements

  • At least 8 years as a product manager or in a similar role, including at least 5 years on technical platform, data or infrastructure products
  • Proven experience owning horizontal shared capabilities used by several teams, with a focus on adoption
  • Proven experience on technically complex solutions, creating clean, lasting designs that scale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex technical ideas to varied audiences inside and outside R&D
  • A record of working with high autonomy in ambiguous scope
  • Preferred: prior experience as an engineer
  • Preferred: concrete examples of using LLM-based agents to automate real workflows

Conditions

Compensation includes base salary, equity and a range of benefits. The US base salary range is $200,000 to $230,000 USD, set by factors such as experience, skillset and location, and by local minimum pay rules where they apply.

Work can be remote or in an office, and the team is distributed across several countries.

The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Benefits

  • Health, dental and vision coverage for you and your family
  • Life insurance
  • Mental wellness coverage
  • Fertility and family-building support
  • Flexible time off plus company-paid holidays
  • Paid family, medical and bereavement leave
  • Retirement savings plans
  • Allowance to set up your home work space and technology
  • Annual professional development stipend
  • Your recruiter can share more on pay and benefits
