Junior Product Developer - H&M Divided

Description

The company is a global fashion group that wants to make great design, affordable prices and sustainable solutions available to many people.

This is a full-time temporary role for 1 year, based at the headquarters in Stockholm.

The role sits in the H&M Divided team and focuses on womenswear and building an assortment that elevates everyday wardrobes.

Responsibilities

• Help shape a relevant, attractive assortment using trend insights, customer needs and commercial opportunities.
• Support the development process from initial idea through to the finished garment, working alongside the Product Developer.
• Work with a Product Manager, Designers, Planners and other key functions to keep development aligned and running smoothly.
• Act as a central link in daily operations, juggling several tasks at once and supporting samples, product follow-up and preparation for upcoming collections.
• Help develop garments that meet customer expectations and strengthen commercial potential, guided by the company strategy and targets.

Requirements

• Experience in product development, fashion buying or retail.
• A deep understanding of the womenswear customer and a sharp eye for fashion, trends and product.
• Relevant education in fashion, buying or product development.
• A commercial mindset, with a clear drive to contribute to business growth and the ability to spot opportunities for growth and profitability.
• A structured, organised way of working that lets you manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• A collaborative, communicative approach and a humble, hands-on attitude in a cross-functional setting.
• A curious mindset and a desire to keep learning and developing.
• An interest in finding smarter ways of working and improving everyday tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and motivation from teamwork and creativity.

Conditions

Placement is in Stockholm, with the role being temporary.
