Description

Work on the commercial side of a motorsport company that has run its races since its first Grand Prix in 1950, now more than 75 years on.

The company's sport is a pioneer, and it develops technologies that reach beyond the track.

What fans see on screen or at events is produced by a large group of teams, including engineering, broadcast, legal, logistics, security, event management, commercial, media rights, marketing and communications.

This role sits in the commercial team, which builds bespoke visuals and presentations for potential partners.

Responsibilities

  • Help the commercial department create custom visuals that show what a partnership with the sport and its women's series could look like, from race partner activations and social media posts to bespoke branding elements.
  • Take an active part in generating ideas for new sponsorship assets for prospective partners.
  • Help produce polished partnership proposal documents in PowerPoint.
  • Help build custom presentations in Digideck, the company's online presentation tool.
  • Apply design principles to every piece so the output is high quality.
  • Use the AI features in Adobe Creative Suite to work faster and improve results.
  • Keep up with creative initiatives and trends in sport sponsorship.
  • Maintain, organise and update all design material the team produces, using a clear and reliable filing system.

Requirements

  • A degree in graphic design or a related creative field.
  • Excellent communication skills, including explaining creative ideas and the reasoning behind them.
  • Able to juggle several projects at once.
  • A self-starter who adapts quickly and works well alone.
  • Comfortable in a creative team, sharing ideas, accepting feedback and contributing to brainstorms.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced setting.
  • A strong portfolio that shows design work from first concept through to finished production.
  • An understanding of how sport sponsorship works in practice.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill across Adobe Creative Suite, with Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator essential.
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • A solid grasp of design principles.
  • Desirable: a passion for sport and entertainment, particularly motorsport.
  • Desirable: video editing skills in Adobe After Effects or an equivalent program.
  • Desirable: experience working in the sports industry.
  • Desirable: knowledge of Digideck.
