This is an existing vacancy for an experienced Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst with strong Java skills who is curious about AI.

Responsibilities

• Give technical and business support to users of the company's applications, resolve issues quickly, and improve stability, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Write and maintain high-quality Java code for enhancements, bug fixes and new features, using Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Act as the link between users and traders, work with internal technology groups and vendors, and advise or coach newer analysts.
• Take part in releases from development and testing through to production, and run post-release checkouts after application and infrastructure updates.
• Create and keep technical support documentation up to date.
• Look for ways to bring AI into support work to save time and automate repetitive tasks.
• Use AI-powered monitoring and predictive analytics to find root causes early and prevent future incidents.
• Improve support documentation and troubleshooting guides with generative AI so recurring issues are resolved quickly and accurately.
• Track application performance and stability continuously, using AI-driven anomaly detection to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Requirements

• 9 to 10 years of hands-on application development experience, with strong knowledge of core Java and object-oriented programming.
• Solid Spring Boot skills and familiarity with the wider stack.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and its best practices.
• 6 to 8 years in application support, including solving complex technical problems.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, MS SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Preferred: good understanding of Angular 2+ and UI/UX design principles.
• Required: curiosity and willingness to explore AI technologies.
• Highly preferred: hands-on experience or knowledge in one or more of the following: AI-powered monitoring and predictive analytics for incident detection; generative AI for documentation, troubleshooting guides or automation; AI-driven anomaly detection for system monitoring and optimization.
• Experience configuring, debugging or supporting business applications in capital markets, preferably debt or equity capital markets origination.
• Experience in demanding client-facing settings, such as a trading floor or client site, where quick turnaround and performance under pressure matter.
• Ability to adjust quickly to changes, especially in priorities.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas in plain business language.
• Strong diplomacy for exchanging complex or sensitive information.
• Analytical thinking, with knowledge of data analysis tools and methods and attention to detail when judging and recommending based on facts.
• Enjoys tough problems and proposes clean, practical solutions.
• Works well under pressure and with shifting priorities.
• Keen learner who teaches others and shares ideas.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree.

Salary range of $120,800.00 to $170,800.00 at the primary location.

Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
