The role is based in Warsaw, Poland, and the development team is spread across the globe.

You will join an established group of developers from varied backgrounds and work with teams across different businesses in the bank, gaining a global view.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the whole development lifecycle, from analysis and design through to deployment and third-line production support.
• Shape the application at a low level and contribute to higher-level architecture decisions.
• Guide junior team members and shape their work.
• Collaborate with colleagues to keep code quality high.
• Build modern risk system software in a leading banking environment.
• Help the company meet its goals while learning to maintain a shared risk platform used by many demanding trading businesses.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of modern Java development, with strong Spring Boot and microservices skills.
• A solid grasp of distributed systems design, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with high availability, resiliency and low-latency applications: a plus.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, MongoDB, SQL and Python: a big plus.
• Experience with Tableau for reporting and/or API work: a big plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication, and a can-do attitude.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a related field.

Conditions

Full-time position based in Warsaw with a hybrid model, currently up to 2 days a week working from home.

Business casual workplace.

Competitive base salary in the range zł140,350.00 to zł322,940.00, potentially subject to final offer.

Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
