You will give dependable day-to-day technology help to staff across the organization, with a focus on service, endpoint support, asset tracking, purchasing, and Apple device administration.
The role sits in a mixed Windows and macOS setting, including Mac management through JAMF and IRU.
The ideal candidate is careful with details, service-minded, and at ease supporting both Windows and macOS.
Responsibilities
Handle first-level and general support requests from employees, covering hardware, software, networking, printers, mobile devices, and conference room equipment.
Keep users informed by communicating clearly, following up on open requests, recording how each issue was resolved, and making sure help arrives on time.
Manage new-hire setup, departures, device rollout, account creation, access requests, equipment recovery, and other IT service tickets.
Set up, roll out, and maintain Mac devices through JAMF and IRU workflows, including enrollment, profiles, app installs, security settings, and user setup.
Help configure Windows machines, install software, apply endpoint updates and basic security settings, and perform routine desktop support.
Keep the asset register current for laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, phones, software licenses, accessories, and assigned equipment.
Support the asset lifecycle: stock tracking, assignment, swaps, returns, repairs, warranty follow-up, and preparing retired items for disposal.
Gather requirements for IT purchases, obtain quotes, raise purchase requests, track orders, and help with vendor agreements and renewal paperwork.
Check pricing, quantities, contract terms, service coverage, renewal dates, and vendor documents for accuracy before internal sign-off.
Write up support, asset, purchasing, and technical procedures so the team works faster and shares what it knows.
Work with internal IT colleagues, vendors, and business units to close issues and complete service requests.
