IT Support Specialist Prague (part time)

Description

Join the internal IT team in Prague as a junior IT support specialist on a part-time basis. You will be the main on-site contact for colleagues in the Prague offices, keeping staff, meeting rooms and office equipment running smoothly each day. The flexible hours suit anyone combining IT practice with studies, freelance work or other commitments.

Responsibilities

• Give in-person technical support to colleagues at the Prague offices, acting as their go-to resource.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot user hardware, including laptops, phones, office printers, projectors and peripherals.
• Set up, monitor and keep up meeting rooms, video-conferencing equipment and AV gear.
• Manage the local office Wi-Fi and basic network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and access points.
• Provide technical and AV support at internal events, all-hands meetings and workshops.
• Offer basic administrative support on Windows, iOS and Android platforms.

Requirements

• Studying computer science, IT or a related field, or having completed such studies, or equivalent practical interest or experience.
• Fluent Czech, which is mandatory for daily in-person office and vendor communication.
• English at least at B2 level, written and spoken, for international communication and IT systems.
• Basic administrative skills on Windows, iOS and Android.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting laptops, mobile devices, multifunction printers and projectors.
• Basic administrative knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Basic understanding of networking hardware and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, access points and Wi-Fi configuration, which is a definite advantage.
• Strong self-organisation, diligence, attention to detail and reliability.
• A friendly, helpful manner with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Conditions

Part-time role requiring on-site presence Monday to Friday, four hours a day.

Work at least four hours between 8:45 and 16:15, rotating with teammates according to a weekly calendar agreed in advance.

Flexibility for ad-hoc assistance is welcome.
