Description

The company responds to severe humanitarian crises and works to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing and power for people hit by conflict and disaster. It was founded in 1933 at Albert Einstein's request, is one of the largest international humanitarian NGOs, and works in more than 40 countries and 29 US cities.

As IT Program Manager, you will run the digital platforms that bring in donations for programs supporting displaced people worldwide. You will be a core member of the Project Management team.

The stack covers Fundraise Up and Springboard for donations and e-commerce, the Drupal website, Salesforce CRM, Databricks, Pardot for email, and Mobile Commons and Mogli for SMS. You will own delivery of enhancements, integrations and new launches that improve how supporters engage online.

Responsibilities

  • Run the full lifecycle of several MarTech projects at once, from scoping and roadmap planning to launch and post-delivery review.
  • Build and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures and product backlogs, and keep delivery on track for time, budget and quality.
  • Act as Scrum Master for your project and product teams, coaching on Agile principles and running sprint planning, standups, retrospectives and reviews.
  • Remove blockers early so delivery stays on schedule.
  • Send clear, timely status reports covering scope, milestones, risks and budget.
  • Speak to audiences from engineers to senior executives, adjusting your message for each, and build trust across business and technology teams.
  • Track budgets and vendor invoices for your portfolio, help with cost estimates, check spending, and contribute to annual budget planning.
  • Define and track functional and technical requirements, document current and future state processes, and coordinate testing with Business Analysts.
  • Keep risk registers and mitigation plans current, raise issues early, escalate when needed, and keep project leadership ahead of potential blockers.
  • Work with Product Managers to build product and project roadmaps that reflect business priorities and technical constraints, supporting a long-term vision for the MarTech portfolio.

Requirements

  • You'll need: 3-6 years of experience in IT project or program management, ideally with e-commerce systems, donation platforms, website CMS or other Marketing Technology.
  • You'll need: a proven record of delivering several concurrent projects on time and within budget.
  • You'll need: hands-on experience with Agile methods such as Scrum, SAFe or similar.
  • You'll need: experience with project tools such as Jira or Monday.com.
  • You'll need: strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and comfort working with collaborators from developers to executives.
  • You'll need: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including synthesizing data to support decisions.
  • You'll need: high organization and initiative, and the ability to work independently in a distributed, fast-paced setting.
  • It'd be great if you have: experience with Fundraise Up, Springboard, Drupal, Salesforce, Pardot or Databricks.
  • It'd be great if you have: familiarity with non-profit fundraising, digital marketing or supporter engagement.
  • It'd be great if you have: experience managing third-party vendors and project budgets.
  • It'd be great if you have: knowledge of Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies.
  • It'd be great if you have: proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio for producing project artifacts.
  • Bonus points for: a PMP, CSM, CSPO or SAFe certification.
  • Bonus points for: experience in international development, human rights or a related field.
  • Bonus points for: understanding of payment processing platforms such as Stripe or PayPal.
