Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line IT support, escalate incidents where needed, and work through complex problems with endpoints, operating systems, applications, networks and access until they are resolved.
  • Manage the lifecycle of Windows and macOS devices, and administer Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID, including user accounts, permissions, authentication and access.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, covering users, groups, licenses, permissions and collaboration tools.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, system administration or a similar technical infrastructure role.
  • Able to investigate technical issues independently and take a problem from first diagnosis to resolution.
  • Practical experience administering and troubleshooting Windows and macOS devices, including provisioning, configuration, patching and software deployment.
  • Practical experience with Active Directory and/or Entra ID, user and access administration, authentication, permissions and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Practical experience handling escalated incidents involving operating systems, applications, hardware, user access and network connectivity.
  • Understanding of networking basics, including troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LAN and VPN issues.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell or another language to automate administrative tasks and improve IT processes.
  • Experience with an ITSM platform, a ticketing system, and structured incident, request and change-management processes.
  • Security-minded, with a working grasp of access control, least privilege and why reliable IT operations matter.
  • Able to prioritize incidents and tasks, work independently, and collaborate well with technical teams, service desk colleagues and external vendors.
  • Clear spoken and written English for an international working environment.
  • Takes initiative, documents work, and seeks lasting fixes rather than repeatedly patching the same issues.
