At Stark, we forge the future of European and national security through cutting-edge, AI-driven technology and unmatched engineering precision. As a premier defence technology company, our mission is clear: to equip NATO Allies and their partners with next-generation autonomous defence platforms and advanced AI-driven software built to perform in the world’s most demanding environments.

We believe that true security stems from relentless innovation. By combining elite engineering talent with agile technology and an AI-native operational culture, Stark turns complex defence challenges into field-tested, multi-domain solutions.

A highly technical and structured group responsible for ensuring the long-term sustainment, reliability, and readiness of advanced defense systems. Working at the cross-section of systems engineering, technical documentation, and program management, the team collaborates closely with development engineers and defense customers to design products for optimal maintainability and life-cycle efficiency.

YOUR MISSION

The ILS Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of Integrated Logistics Support activities throughout the product lifecycle. The role ensures that product support considerations are integrated into the system design, resulting in optimized system readiness, reduced life-cycle costs, and compliance with contractual military support specifications.

  • Technical Documentation: Coordinate the development, validation, and maintenance of Technical Publications and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) in compliance with international specifications.
  • Sparing and Support Equipment: Develop initial provisioning recommendations, spare parts lists, and determine requirements for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and specialized tools.
  • Engineering Liaison: Serve as the technical interface between the Product Support department and system engineering teams (such as Hardware, Embedded Software, and Safety) to promote design-for-sustainment principles.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for technical ILS topics with military customers, procurement agencies, and subcontracted partners
  • WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MISSION
  • Education: University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in ILS Engineering, Product Support, or Life-Cycle Management within the defence or aerospace industry.
  • Standards & Specifications: Demonstrated proficiency in applicable industry standards, including S1000D (technical publications), S2000M (provisioning), and GEIA-STD-0007 / MIL-STD-1388 (LSA data).
  • Project Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables under structured program timelines.
  • Languages: Professional fluency in written and spoken English and German is required; other European languages is beneficial.
  • Security Clearance: NATO nationality is required, along with eligibility for a national security clearance.
  • If you're interested in building the future of European Defence with us, and you see yourself reflected on the description above, please send us your CV in English . We're looking forward to meeting you!
